Love Me Like You Do

Chapter 9

Amara's P.O.V.

"Who's 'Uncle Cay'?" Raymond said dryly. "A friend." I answered simply.

"Amara Caprice Bryant, if-"

"You'll meet him sometime but what happened when you left Ma house?" I asked changing the subject.

"I don't want her to marry Rick and don't try to change the subject." He sighed. "Why can't you just let Ma be happy."

"Imma talk to you tomorrow Amara. Love you, Bye." He rushed me off the phone.

"Love you more, Bye." I hung up the phone.

I walked to the living room to see Cayden and Audrey talking.

"Is your daddy going to like me?" Cayden asked. Aww at least he cares.

"Daddy loves everybody, he even loves Pa." She said smiling. "Who's Pa?" Cayden asked confused.

"Time for your bath, Drey." I said interrupting their conversation. "Ok." She said and walked into my room. Cayden licked his lips and smirked at me before I rolled my eyes playfully.

"C'mere." He patted his thigh. I walked over to him and sat on him. He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What did your brother say?" He asked with his chin on my shoulder.

"Why? Your worried?" I smirked. "No. I just want to know." He shifted in his seat. I turned around so I was straddling him. He gripped my thighs and massaged them.

"He didn't say anything really." I shrugged. "Mhm." He mumbled and kissed my lips. I kissed back and he moved his hands from my thighs to my butt.

"Auunnntttiiee!" Audrey called. I got up and walked to my room, breaking our kiss. Cayden sucks his teeth and I laugh.

"That's not funny, Amara." He yells before I go to take Audrey a bath.

"You have bubbles?" She said getting into the tub. "Yea, I do." I said grabbing the bottle from the corner of the tub before pouring the liquid into the water.

The bubbles started to form and Audrey played with them. "Yay!" She said cheery and put the bubbles all over her face then facing me. She made the duck face and I laughed at her.

Ten minutes later, It was my turn to take a shower. I dressed Audrey before taking a shower myself.

When I was finished, I put on my Spongebob onesie while Audrey had on her strawberry shortcake onesie.

"Wanna go in Uncle Cayden's room?" I asked Audrey and she nodded.

We walked over to his room and on three we bust opened his room door.

"Boo!" We said in unison and he just looked at us. He was in his bed on his phone in the dark. "Uncle Cayden not scared." Audrey looked up at me.

"I know baby. Better luck next time." I pouted. I held her hand and helped her get into the bed before I got in.

"Hey, baby." Cayden said aloud. "Hi Uncle Cay!" Audrey waved and I bust out laughing. Cayden chuckled in a deep raspy voice which turned me on.

I got out the bed and went to go get some Oreos. "Go to sleep, Audrey. I'll be right back." I kissed her forehead.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the bag of Oreos before pouring me a glass of milk. I dipped my cookie in my milk before putting it into my mouth.

I haven't talked to Jaelynn in a lil bit. I thought to myself. Ill call her in the morning. I was just about finished with my Oreos when Cayden walked into the kitchen.
