Emma's POV
I don't know what's gotten into Jax. He's acting like a child around Weston and it's not like him. But as I contemplated possibilities I just thought about how much it worries me what's going through their minds and I'm honestly scared. Weston is acting different too, he is not the best friend I remember and that is making me nervous. I need to find out what's going on with them. As I thought I almost forgot about my date with Jax.
Jax's POV
I don't know how this will end but I need to know Emma still loves me, because I will work hard to keep her if I have to. as I thought to myself I got distracted from what I was doing. I'm not really worried but I need to watch my back because even though she wants to be close to him as a best friend he wants more. That's what's got me worried, she doesn't know this but he's using their past friendship to get close to her. I see the look in his eye when they plan anything. It's somewhat worrisome, I thought to myself as I fumbled around. I need to get ready! I texted Emma quickly saying, "I love you and I hope you and Weston's friendship doesn't get in between us. But I'll be right there." I soon heard a beep and the words, "love you too. Weston can't stop me from loving you."
