Chapter Eight Moving Away

Emma's POV

I start to pack, I am moving away in a couple days and I need to talk to Jax. I stop packing and call him, but I only have my clothes packed and I need to pack the rest. Jax picks up and says, "Hey Em. You needed to talk?" "Yes." I reply. "I wanted to tell you I have to move in a couple days, and I want to see if you could come live with me, because my dad wanted to see if you could since you live alone." "Maybe. Where are you moving to?" "Kansas, not extremely far away, but my dad got a better job there and he's taking it so we are moving." "Okay." He said. "I will pack" I hung up and packed all my books, pillows, stuffed animals, and collages.

Jax's POV

I can't believe Emma invited me to move with her! No more Daniel and no more interference with me and Emma. I can't wait! I use a spell to pack all my stuff, just leaving my bed, nightstand, and my beanbag chair. On Monday, (two days from now) It's time to move and I can't wait.

Moving day still Jax's POV

The moving trucks come and I pack my beanbag my bed parts and my four boxes of clothes and other stuff. I sit in the car with Emma, it was a twenty-three hour drive and we were curled up together listening to music as Luke drove the moving truck behind us. We would have to sleep while we can, we have to drive the last eleven and a half hours of the drive so we don't have to stay at a hotel until we get to our destination. Emma fell asleep in my arms and I eventually drifted to sleep.

At lunch Emma's POV

We finally get to lunch and it's almost my turn to drive with Jax and I'm not looking forward to it. We have to drive eleven and a half hours!! I finish my food and start to drive, I kiss my brother as he starts to dose off. As I drive I turn on the music so I don't get bored, we eventually have dinner and it's a needed stretch for my legs and arms. We all get cheese pizza and eat slowly, pulling out the time between now and driving more. We all go back to the car and drive the last two hours.
