Your POV

You woke up at 7:30am, getting ready for work. You work an office job from home, but with long hours, its hard work. You slowly get out of bed, trying not to wake up your boyfriend corpse. You and corpse had been friends since high school, but after you graduated it started to become something more than that. You and corpses 5 year anniversary was coming up, and you still had nothing planned. You had been completely stressed for days on end and you didn't know what to do.

You went to your home office, and locked both doors to try and really get some work done. You had two doors in your office, the entrance, and a door that connected to corpses home office, which he uses for streaming and such.

You had a busy day in regards to meetings all day, just in and out, barely any breaks. It turned 5pm, you hadn't eaten yet, or even drank anything all day. You checked your phone to see multiple missed calls and texts from corpse.

good morning princess!
i wanted to give you a morning cuddle
but when i woke up you weren't there!

are you okay? I haven't seen you all day?

Today 12:00pm

do u want anything for lunch?
with all the hard work you do, you could use a lunch break

im not the controlling type and you know that, but enough is enough
i want you out of that office by 5:30, and I'm cooking us dinner

I sighed and placed my head in my hands. Not only was I extremely far behind at work, but I've also neglected and worried my boyfriend. I took a couple deep breaths and got out of my office and went to see my boyfriend in the kitchen.

"Hey baby, sorry I've been stuck in my office all day, I had a bunch of back to back meetings all day" I said tiredly, slithering my arms around his waist from behind him. He's 5'10 while I'm only 5'0 so the height difference is major.

"That's okay, I understand" he says turning around and hugging me back, giving me a small kiss on the head before pulling away and going back to his cooking. "Why don't you go sit down and relax, I'll let you know when dinners ready" He says to you. He almost seemed, sad? "Okay, let me know if you need help" I said, almost not being able to finish the sentence as I waked out and flopped on the couch.

I scrolled through twitter and replied to a couple dms from fans, and after about 20 minutes, corpse came in and said dinner was ready. We sat down at the table and started eating. We sat in a bit of an awkward silence for a while until I said something.

"Look, I'm really sorry I haven't been spending much time with you lately, like I said, I'm just really far behind at work, and I really wanna catch up" I apologised. I felt so guilty, he seemed so upset. "Y/n that's not the problem" That's when I knew he was serious. He never called me Y/n. "I'm not upset about not getting time with you, I just dont want you to overwork yourself" He said.
