Moondrop pov
"Oh my starlight...I would go to the sun and back to save you from harm. I don't want anything or anyone to hurt you. I want you to stay by my side forever. I need you." I said while gently pulling the sleeping y/n on my lap and running my fingers through their hair.
Y/n gently hugged the plushie closer to there chest while snoring peacefully. I watched over them protecting them from all the bad."Don't worry y/n... I'll protect you from all those people along with your dreams."I whispered trying not to stir y/n while they slept.
That's when I heard Sundrop talking to me.""Moondrop..."Sundrop sounded almost annoyed at me."What is it now Sundrop? Can't you see the kid likes me more plus they're sleeping! It's rude to wake someone up while sleeping!" "Yes I see that but aren't you starting to...you know take a turn with things?" "What do you mean?" "Well you are growing a little too attached to y/n and maybe you should-" "Sundrop stop trying to take y/n away from me! You're jealous that I get y/n all to myself and you can't see them often!You have ever other kid in the world to play with and I only have one and you're trying to take them away from me!!"I yelled at Sundrop that left him speechless. That's when I realized what I've said to him."Sundrop I'm-" "It's fine I was trying to tell you something anyway I'll stay away from y/n from now on."He said sadly at what I said to him without realizing."Please I'm sorry!"I tried to convince him sounding almost desperate. "I don't care."
That's when I lost control of my body and mind. Somehow Sundrop managed to take control of everything while I was put back in his mind."How-" "We're programmed with a code that gives us access to switch our minds. However I was given full control while you were given some. I kept that a secret until now."He finished while I'll was left speechless.He lied to me about control,I thought I always had full control. It's true to me that I broken the limit of all he can take, this wasn't like me at all. Sure I can be a jerk sometimes but I never said anything so cold that it would break someone especially to the nicest animatronic,Sundrop.
All I could do is think about what I said and watch as Sundrop in my body turned the lights back on and turned back into himself."Starlight,Sundrop I'm sorry!!"I yelled trying to talk Sundrop but he kept ignoring me and walked back to y/n."Y/n!!!" I cried out trying to take back control to see my starlight. That when I saw Sundrop writing a note that said "Morning y/n. Sorry I'm busy with the other children but I'll give you something to do and some pizza. I'll check on you soon."
"Are you trying to take them away from me?!"I yelled forgetting what happened earlier when I yelled at them."No a child needs a proper home and I'm a animatronic. I won't let you see them no more unless you give me a good reason."Sundrop replied while walking away from y/n. "Its you that wants y/n or starlight. I don't want you to go insane and start attacking people."
He had a point there,I don't want anyone to have y/n but will I kill to keep y/n for myself I don't want to kill anyone so I'll think of something else that doesn't involve hiding a body or hurting someone else.
Y/N Pov
When I woke up I saw that I was holding a plushie of Moondrop."So that's what I was hugging!I thought it was real Moondrop!"You said while getting up to see that your in Sundrop's and Moondrop's room.
Then you see and pick up the note Sundrop left for you.It said "Morning y/n. Sorry I'm busy with the other children but I'll give you something to do and some pizza. I'll check on you soon."
You decide to eat some if the pizza Sundrop left for you. "Sure it's kinda cold but it's better to eat something rather than nothing right!"Y/n thought as you but into the pizza.After you finish eating two slices you decide to to see what Sundrop left for you and you find books, paper and colors in there.
"How nice!"Y/n says smiling while picking up some paper and pencils and a book about origami.
Y/n looks in the book and sees a origami crane in it and a description."According to Japanese tradition, folding 1,000 paper cranes gives a person a chance to make one special wish come true. That's cool! I wish I could do that."Y/n thought while making a colorful paper crane.
(I always loved this Japanese tradition)
You make two paper cranes one yellow while another purple."I can wait to show this to Sun and Moon!!"Y/n said happily while running around the room with both cranes in your hands acting like they're flying.
