Reader X One shot Fandom(S)

Ummm

An: Okay I have one word to say:Snow. Yup it's snowing here or more accurate raining ice,no it's literally raining ice here so it's like packed snow here.

Storytime of last year:

So last year in Texas the whole winter happened and where I lived it was fine for a while until the power went out. Yup the power went out for three days I think but would come on occasionally. Luckily though my mother was prepared and had all the electronics charged,a propane heater and a lot of blankets and one big room and we all moved there. At first it was fine for us but then when nighttime came we had a small problem: Who's going to sleep where. And there was one bed in there a queens size bed my parents sleep on so I did this: I went into my room which was freezing and grabbed all my pillows which took about two trips and made a makeshift bed out of it.

So then my brothers thought:We can do better than that and they dragged a mattress in the room as well and my Mom said: You have to share that with my brother who is two years older than me. So after that I started taunting them like: You thought you were smart well I guess you didn't think that through!!!While they shared a bed,I slept alone. It wasn't the best makeshift bed but it was something.

So then when I wake up and I found out we're out of food so me,mom and my brother had to shop somewhere. First store,empty, second one empty but when we get to the third one it was full,full with people but then had food supplies. So we're running around the shop with two shopping cards grabbed anything we need before someone else grabs it. So after we got everything we had to wait in a line cause the power was still out so they were doing this the old fashion way.

After a few minutes of waiting, someone passed out in front of us so someone decided to call the ambulance for them. I don't know if they're okay but hope they are.So we get back to my house and see that our neighbor set up a grill so I take this like:he can grill still so we'll be fine.

After I helped put everything up I decided rest awhile until the neighbors I said from earlier,he accidentally dropped his grill next to our door and some other door.(And yes I live in the apartments)
So now we're struggling to put it out since it was already spreading and they called 911 for backup. Luckily we were able to put the fire out but they had to check the apartments for any smoke.

And you remember the door I said earlier,that was not just a door,it was the door for the water heater and the fire damage it. So even if the power came back on,it wouldn't be able to help us with that.So three weeks later we got it fix and a new rule here to: No grills in the apartments, only in the back

So after the winter storm ends it goes up all over the news. So it took a long time to fix the power in some places but where I lived it took a few days.

I didn't have a lot of time to work with so this is kinda rushed. So anyways I wish others luck if they are also in this winter storm. Stay safe!!!
