*Flashback con't*
Joker's P.O.V
Joker was getting annoyed with trying to find out more on Kiara; it was like she didn't exist anywhere except on the streets where she caused trouble occasionally. He was surprised when there wasn't even anything to show she had ever been caught by the police and that just irritated him more.
He already made a mistake by attacking a bank that she was at and glared at Joker when she heard the cops were on their way. He had tried to catch Kiara but she reminded him of a ghost; one minute she's there and the next she's gone.
Joker looked up when a knock came to his door and growled under his breath. "Enter!" He sat back in his chair and smirked when he saw that Penguin had come to pay him a visit. "Now to what do I owe this visit?"
"Came to see if you found out anything more on Kiara; but I'm going to assume by the warm welcome I got you probably haven't found anything. It was probably her doing that all her records vanished and she became a ghost; she doesn't exist anymore Joker. This allows her to move around as she see's fit; she has nothing left to loose like us higher powers do and she knows that."
Joker's eyes hardened as he listened; it was true people who had nothing to loose were always the more dangerous to not just themselves but to society. These were the people that could show up anywhere and vanish again; a person without an identity could have any identity that they liked.
"What a scary girl she is; and to think that she started this because of what I did to Two Face."
"No our sources tell us she was already a thief and what not when she was younger...her wanting revenge was after you made Two Face and he had killed her father, the last of her family. She's been making things a living hell since that day we had gathered together; not even Batman can touch her. She's got to have a trigger something..."
Joker looked up and tensed sliding his gun out seeing a red dot on Penguin and he moved forcing Penguin to the floor as a shot came and it was a clear warning from Kiara to back off. Joker looked up and then moved looking out the window seeing no signs of anyone around as he sounded the alarm and his men went to look for her.
"Damn what the hell was that about?" Penguin asked getting up as himself like Joker was alert for the female and neither could see anything.
"Maybe it was due to me interrupting her during a heist on a bank about a week ago; she's been keeping me on my toes but she also kept others from touching me."
Penguin chuckled. "Typical woman; she's contradicting she wants us in prison but doesn't want anyone else to touch us. If someone tries to touch us then she'll...raise an alarm. We have unwanted company here."
Joker cursed and called his men back and sure enough there was another low rank gang trying to attack Joker and his men. Joker wasted no time in shooting them and smirked going after the leader; he heard a thud behind him and turned to see a man dead behind him and looked around till he spotted Kiara and nodded his head in thanks.
Kiara's P.O.V
I smirked a little nodding back to Joker and took my leave moving through the shadows and climbed up a chain link fence then over it. I had my car this day as I hid my weapons in it again before I got into the driver seat and took off knowing that Joker and Penguin would be alright.
I didn't mind watching their backs but still I didn't to get back at Joker for wrecking my heist. As I drove I thought of his treasured car and a smirk formed on my face as I had an idea of what to do to it.
I drove to my hide out that none of the others could find; none of them had even come close to finding it. The best thing about my hide out that it's actually was a store at one point that I slowly converted and it was under a false name so no one would bother me here and it's on the outside of Gotham city away from all the other criminals.
While the other criminals all seemed to gather in the center of the city I tended to stay on the outside; on the outside I also had the best chance of escaping anything the idiots might try to do. Like Bane when he tried to blow up all of Gotham I had managed to escape before anyone could even stop me.
I wasn't one who only had one plan and one way of escape I made sure that I had plenty ways of escape all the time. As I walked into my home I turned lights on and hummed to myself as I turned on my television which was the best way to keep an eye on things happening around the world or right in Gotham.
I had an open floor plan for my main floor which consisted of the livingroom, kitchen, dining room, down the hall was the guest bedroom and guest bathroom. I walked to the kitchen and started cooking myself a small steak medium rare, potatoes, carrots, along with a glass of nicely aged wine of which I rarely drank.
As I was cooking the emergency station for Gotham came on and I kept an eye on the television and frowned when I saw Joker on it and figured he either hacked the station or once again took over the entire news station again which wouldn't be the first time.
"Ladies and Gentlemen it has come to my attention that we have a woman who thinks she can do as she wants amongst all gangs; she has been too afraid to attack myself and I dare Kiara to show herself in the next two hours or there will be some people who will have a bullet in their heads." Joker spoke with a sadistic grin and I wasn't going to do it and still might not he wasn't worth my time. I froze when I saw that he also had children tied up and was threatening to kill them as I growled under my breath shutting my food off sighing in disappointment that I couldn't eat yet.
I thought of what to do and smirked grabbing my laptop and bounced my signal off all the satellites all over the world before I hacked in response. "You dare call me a coward Joker? Or shall I say clown your nothing to me; just a mere flee that deserves to get squashed. You think I'm afraid of you then think again my friend." Smirking as I made sure the signal was at his location and hung up when Batman got on scene fighting Joker. "Rookies."
I looked when the internet started going wild and I smirked seeing that people were laughing and degrading Joker for being vested by a mere woman. I knew Joker was strong and smart and it wouldn't be long till he tried to get out of Arkham till then I had plenty of time to put my actions into plan starting with all his money and warehouses.
*Flashback Ends*
I looked up when Joker snapped me out of the flashback and knew we both remembered the same thing and I looked when I heard my phone and smirked seeing that Cat Woman had set my traps for Riddler and Two Face and smirked. "Show time; I'm so not missing this."
"Well if you don't mind some company I would like to see what exactly you have up your sleeve for both of them." Joker spoke and I saw he had grabbed a black leather jacket and helped me slide it on.
"So long as I can drive that gorgeous car of yours; since my baby isn't here." I did miss my car it was all specially designed by some contacts and friends that nothing could defeat her speed and it could drift around corners like she was floating on air.
Joker smirked see that I wanted to drive his car and had used the puppy eyes. He wore his gold jacket and grabbed the keys tossing them to me as I caught them and smiled happily hurrying with him and unlocked the car before getting in the drivers seat starting it up.
Once Joker was in I took off slowly till we hit the highway then started driving faster loving the feel of the speed; I was careful but could tell Joker was enjoying the ride even when I drifted with ease while driving his car. I pulled up to the spot where we could watch my handiwork and parked the car before I called CatWoman.
"Hello my beauty; are you already waiting for the show to begin?"
I smiled. "You bet and I made sure I got the best seat in the house; I've transferred what you asked over to that account don't worry it's untraceable I made sure. Thank you for being a darling; we really need a girls day."
"Hell yeah we do; I still can't get the big guy to loosen up and have some fun or maybe look the other way for a little while. So how's clown boy? Still being a child?" She spoke with a teasing but belittling tone.
I snickered seeing the glare Joker gave to my phone. "Depends on the day and time; don't worry I'll keep him in check just keep your man in line." Seeing explosions and the gates trapped the men and criminals from leaving the property until the cops got on scene and got them all. "Ouch their plans always fail for them that's got to hurt."
