"But that's the truth! I don't like her anymore!" Jeongin tried his best to convince his friends, while Changbin and Felix lay on the ground, laughing their asses off.
"You sure? Last time I checked you wrote a whole ass love letter for her and planned to hide it in her locker."
Jeongins loss of words made Jisung laugh. "Bro, it's okay to like her. You crushed on her for the last... let's say 4 years? Don't tell us you've lost interest from one to the other day."
Minho agreed. "Give up dude, we know that you're lying . Here you go."
He filled a shot glass with a clear liquid and handed it to the whining boy.
Jeongin took the shoot, grimaced after drinking it. "This is so not yummy."
Changbin, Felix, Jeongin, Jisung and Minho sat together in Minhos living room. They had started playing drinking games a good hour ago. Plans for today originally have been drinking a few beers together, but as always, it had to escalate. After some rounds of beer pong, they've changed to truth or dare. Well, more like truth or drink.
Jisung didn't know why, but every single time when it was Jeongins turn to answer, he lied as if there was no tomorrow. And every single time the others could tell immediately. You just could see when the youngest was trying to lie.
After two more rounds Changbin decided to walk a pretty drunk Jeongin home. The other boys decided to order food (for the second time this evening).
While waiting, Jisung leaned on his best friends shoulder. He felt a little dizzy, his eyes were kind of tired. Minho put his arm around the younger to make the sofa even more comfortable and gently stroked his hair, while doing stuff on his phone.
Felix observed his two friends and smiled slightly.
"You guys kinda accepted the systems decision?"
Jisung shrugged. "Do we have another option?"
Felix took a sip of his drink. "At least you can live with someone you already know very well. I'm still scared to get a partner I can't get along with."
Jisung opened his heavy eyes to smile at his friend. "Lix. First of all, how could there be a single person on this planet you can't get along with? You're literally an angel. You make friends so fast! Do you remember how you met Changbin for the first time? Everyone was kinda scared of him back then and you just decided that he would be your bestest friend. Really, I don't think you have to worry at all. Whoever the system will choose for you, they'll win the damn jackpot."
Felix blushed because of the kind words and Minho looked up from his phone, just to pinch his best friend in the ribs.
"You never say such nice things to me!"
"Bruh, I did, but you said I should shut my mouth. I just wanted to tell you what an amazing, good looking, perfect boyfriend you got, but you already knew, I guess." He looked up to the older to wink, but Minho just laughed and threw a pillow at Jisungs face.
None of the two boys seemed to realize Jisungs word choice, only Felix did. Sitting on the soft carpet, on the other side of the coffee table he had a good front view on his friends. He was sure that something had changed between them. They acted as usuall, most of the time, but these small gestures, like playing with the others hair or leaving the hand on the others thigh, they definitely were new. None of them seemed to notice their small actions, but for Felix it was obvious, that they unconsciously tried to always create some physical contact with each other.
"So adorable", he mumbled.
"What?" Jisung combed with his fingers through his hair to fix it.
"Oh nothing." Felix smiled.
Two hours and a midnight snack later Felix had also left Minhos apartment. After saying goodbye to their friend, Minho took his keys and jacket.
"Where do you go? It's after 1 a.m.", Jisung wondered, before he had to catch his own jacket, thrown by the older.
"Lets go to the rooftop."
Soooo she survived her exam^^
