Chapter seventeen- The fire

Well, Zayn finally agreed that I could come with him to France. We finally reached a motel in a tiny town called Hamelton. We went into the office to get a room. I guess the manager of that motel was a fan.

"A-are you Zayn Malik?" She stutters.

"Yeah, can we please get a room?"

"Sure, 118." She replied handing Zayn the key.

We headed to room 118 and unlocked the door. It was pretty nice but it only had one bed.

"Hmm.. I like it." Zayn says looking around. "Is there a bathroom?"

"I don't know, it only has one bed."

"Oh."

I decided to go for a walk and saw something strange. A bag. I went up to it and heard meowing. I opened it and saw three black and white kittens. When I saw them I thought of Harry. I missed him so I got out my cell phone and called home.

"Hello? Audrey? Is that you?" He says.

"Yeah, I'm in a little town called Hamelton. Can you please come see me? I miss you!" I cry.

"I'll be there."

He hung up. I saw Zayn come around the corner with a sparkle in his eye.

"What's that?" He asked.

"Nothing. Harry's coming."

"You missed him didn't you?" He says with his hands tucked in his pockets.

"Yeah." I say. He walks over to a bench and sits down.

About two hours later, a bus came around the street corner. I saw Harry. I hopped up and sprinted to that bus. He got off and I squeezed him.

"I love you." He says. I squeeze him harder now.

"I know." I say. It's the first thing that comes to mind.

We went back to the motel and saw it was in flames. We heard screaming inside that sounded like children. I ran in.

"Audrey, no! You'll get killed!" Harry yelled. "I'm going in too!"

I was fighting the flames and then I saw a group of children cowering in the corner. I grabbed three and dropped them safely out the door. I grabbed the last four and ran out with them. Then the motel collapsed.

"The manager." Zayn says watching the building tumble down.

"Let's go home, to the hotel." I suggested.

"Okay." Zayn says.
