Robert
Andy pulled up in front of the apartment building.
She pulled into the garage.
Andy got out.
She helped me out.
Andy wrapped my arm around her shoulders.
"I've got you."
She helped me to the entrance.
I opened the door.
We walked in.
"Are you okay, Mrs. Andy?"
"Yes. Everything is fine."
She helped me over to the elevator.
Andy hit the elevator call button.
She hit the up button.
I was playing with Andy's Braid.
"Now is not the time, Robert. You're hurt."
"Ugh. Come on."
"No. You're hurt. You're going to sleep. And if you have anymore objections, I'm gonna have Ripley tell you to go to sleep."
"Yeah, right."
We got in the elevator.
"He's gonna be too busy with Vic."
Andy laughed.
"You're probably right."
The elevator bell dinged.
She slung my arm around her shoulders again.
"I totally should've left this door unlocked."
Andy walked out of the elevator, bringing the key out.
She stuck the key in the key slot.
Andy turned the key in the key slot, opening the door.
She helped me in.
Andy kicked the door shut behind us.
She helped me to our room.
"Do you need help getting changed?"
"I told you what I wanted to do."
"If you're not hurt tomorrow, we can both take the day off tomorrow and spend all day in bed. Deal?"
"Fine."
"Do you need help getting changed?"
"No."
I slid my red pajama pants on.
Andy slid on the red chemise lounge slip nightgown.
She got in bed beside me.
I pulled the blanket over the Andy.
She laughed.
"It's not my fault you can't control yourself."
"Can we actually talk about that?"
"Well, I do want a kid. What about you?"
"Yeah."
"If he's a boy, I already have a name picked out."
"What?"
"Pruitt Dean Herrera-Sullivan."
"You really think Ripley is gonna let you be a Firefighter?"
"Who says he has to know? If Vic doesn't find out, he won't."
"That's-- That's great, Andy."
"Well... Wait until the seventh month. Ripley will put me on maternity leave. Once I give birth, he'll put you on paternity leave."
"Yeah."
"Sound like a plan?"
"Yeah. But, uh... I find you have a problem."
"What?"
"How are you gonna conceal a baby bump for seven months?"
"I'll wing it."
"That's great, Andy. Nice plan."
"It is."
I wrapped my arms around Andy.
She laid her head on my chest.
We fell asleep in each other's arms.
