Rain sprinkled the land of Liyue, a myriad of transparent liquid drops hitting the soiled ground, and there stood the giant statue of Morax standing by itself, still glowing in the middle of an ordinary, soon to be gone, rainy day.

The citizens under their umbrellas did not seem to care whether the rain was whispering in their ears. How ignorant, how selfish. How the harbor has changed from something wonderful to something miserable, to something polite and lovely to something considered unkind.

" It's raining," y/n muttered under her breath and sighed sadly, standing below a shelter. " And it's heavier than I thought it would be..."

She remembered how water would have raised and attacked the harbor just like a month or two ago, causing a gigantic flood. The citizens should be honored that they had the Qixing and cryo wielders like the h/c haired female because if they weren't there, no one could imagine what the harbor would look like now.

" Stupid. I better not stand here and do nothing," she sighed, knowing she had to walk under the rain and get her clothing soaked, something she certainly did not like.

She took a step outside the shelter and looked up, then looked back, nodding at the saleswoman who was in charge of the shop.

" Ma'am, are you sure you want to walk while it's raining?" the saleswoman asked, twirling around to find an umbrella. " Please do take an umbrella with you."

y/n blinked twice at the statement and turned around, tilting her head to the side, " No, that isn't necessary but I'm grateful for the offer."

Carrying her sword in her side waist, walking in the rain at the stone ground swiftly without an umbrella above her head, she went down the stairs as she tried her best to not slip down and crash to the wet floor and get her entire attire soaked.

But unfortunately, she missed a step, landed on a stair, and slid down to the first step like she was on a water slide. What she thought would not actually happen, eventually did. She then let out a loud, painful groan, holding her ankle.

" Oh..." she gritted her teeth and stood up, walking like an old grandpa, those ones you see in villages. Luckily, no one was around to witness the clumsy scene. She looked down the floor, embarrassed, and silently scuttled away.

It was too much of a lovely day for the rain to shower the harbor a little too much unless you live in Qingce, a place covered in orange fields and verdant grass, gigantic willow-like trees, and red Jueyen chilies that always grew despite the heavy rain or even the summery weather.

" Hey, watch it."

" Can't you look where you're going, heh?"

She stopped in her tracks, allowing the raindrops to land on her head. The men kept on walking away from her, not looking back once. She looked like a lunatic, really, for she was standing in the middle of the road when she knew it was raining, and not to mention she was blocking the path.
