You walk around the new town. It was quite a sight.
Sora strays from you for a moment to look and ask around about the new wayward town.
"Hey, miss." A cute voice call for you
You look around for the sound source.
"Down here!" You came face to face with a doll-sized white creature with a large, spherical head, that also has tiny, purple wings like those of a bat on their backs. It looks cute.
"You're new around here, are you? Traveled alone?"
"Yes, I'm new and I have my friend with me. I'll be fine with him. If you don't mind me asking, who are you?"
"My name is Moogle, I'm promoting my new shop, you can buy items. The First District is the only safe place around here away from the creatures, kupo. This is a place where I can promote my business." Moogle introduced itself
"Business?" You questioned
Moogle waved its doll hand to signal you closer. "Speaking of business, wanna help me with a trial run?"
You questioned what he meant. "It'll be worth your while."
You notice Sora coming over. You shake your head, politely declining Moogle's offer.
Sora walked over and grab your hand. "We have to check this place out." He led you inside an accessory store
You stroll around looking at the display cases with valuable goodies. A man with blond hair chewing on a toothpick caught your attention.
"Hey there, how can I--" he stopped short when he sees you two
"Oh, it's just kids."
"I'm not a kid! The name's Sora! This is my friend, Kanna." Sora introduced
"Okay, now. Simmer down."
You had a non-reading expression on your face. The man noticed.
"What's up with your friend? You lost or somethin'?" He asked Sora
"Kanna doesn't express her feelings often but she's nice and we might be a little lost in the department," Sora explained the situation about what happens on the island, how you ended up here.
You walk up next to him.
"Where are we?" Sora questioned
"Huh? No one told you. This is Traverse Town." He answered
"Traverse Town, um? So, gramps, is this another world?" Sora asked
"Don't call me gramps! The name is Cid!" Cid introduced "And about your island, I can't help you."
Sora sighed, "Well I guess we start looking for Riku and Kairi."
You nodded.
"Good luck with whatever it is your doing. If you run into any trouble, you come to me. I'll help you." Cid said
