Tenko stared at dabi's sleeping body. Watching he way his chest when up and down, watching the way he would occasionally shift around, it was a mystery to tenko as to how he slept so soundly, after knowing what tenko knew it was hard to sleep. Tenko remembered that day as if it were yesterday. His father collapsing to his side, his back had melted, blood dripped showing bits of his spine. Looking up to his mother, she had given him one last smile before slowly leaning over the both of them, crushing them. . . But she couldn't move. The feeling of Hana holding him tight, Hana screaming into his ear because the flames had finally touched her, gripping onto tenkos arm because she had no one else.

But the one thing tenko couldn't figure out is why he couldn't feel the flames. Tenkos mind felt numb, not knowing the answer scared him. 

Tenko fell out of his trance, startled by dabi's snoring, after tenko finally tuned him out he just seemed to get louder as time went on. Tenko thought of killing him, although tenko wanted to he could never bring himself to kill another human, the sound of someone's last breath made him shiver. He had always attempted but when he was close he stopped.

In spite of it all tenko stood up, he had a plan: Get out this hole before dabi woke up.

"GODS PRECIOUS HEART!" Was all dabi heard when he woke up. He was tempted to ignore the cry, but then loud sobs were let out afterwards, making it impossible for him to ignore it. Sitting up he looked at the scene.

"What the hell happened!!?" dabi yelled. He immediately stood up and ran towards tenko. But tenko scooted away as much as he could.

"No . . . Stay away!" he yelled in a mess of sobs. Dabi walked closer to tenko, grabbing his shoulder- "DON'T TOUCH ME YOU MURDERER!" Tenko screamed, sobbing about the pain immediately after. Dabi stood there for a moment, he hadn't known what to say, especially Looking down towards tenko's broken leg, it was his right leg and his lower calf was facing outwards, looking even closer his skin was ripped around area his bone stuck out.

"You need help. . ." Dabi moved closer, causing tenko to move back once more. "Stop it you need help!" Dabi yelled, gripped tenkos shoulder to keep him in place. Tenko winced, but finally stoped fighting, though he kept his eyes down refusing to look dabi in the face.

"Alright, first we need to put your leg back in place then-"

"NO!" Tenko cut off dabi. "What do you mean no?" Dabi said. "How else is it going to heal?" Tenko just kept yelling no, but that didn't stop dabi from grabbing his leg and quickly snapping it back in place.

Tenko let out a blood curdling scream. Dabi winced as well, sympathizing with the younger teen, but he has to focus on what was important. He looked around the sort of prison and wandered to find a well enough stick to use. When he found one it was pretty long, but he decided to break it in half and use the two Pieces for tenko's leg. Walking back he knelt down and lined up the sticks with tenko's leg, grabbing the knife that sat on his waist he chopped off the extra lengths of wood. Looking down at the ends of his cloak he reached his hands down and reluctantly tore off a good length, wrapping it around his wound and tying it tight. Making sure he tied the two sticks along his leg as well. Stepping back he looked at the finished makeshift cast, exhaling in relief afterwards.

"Now let's find a way out of here." Dabi said.

"There's no use. . ." Tenko muttered. "I've tried everything, there's no way out" there was a moment of silence before dabi spoke up.

"Have you tried using magic?" Tenko finally looked up at dabi, his eyes were red, dry, even though he had been sobbing. His face was scrunched in a disgusted look.
