Logan's pov
I let out a sigh as I got home. I set down my school bag and walked futher into the house. I didn't bother to announce I was home as there was no one here. My parents were always busy with work and don't get home until nine. When they get home we eat dinner, clean up and go to bed.
I enter the kitchen and head to the fridge. I rummage through the fridge looking for something to snack on while I study. 'What should I make?' I thought, as I shuffled some things around. I decided on making a sandwich and salad. When I was done I picked up the food (he had it on a plate.) And walked upstairs. I had grabbed my school bag on my way up.
As I was working I got a text from stacy saying that my father doesn't need me at five anymore.
Time skip
I raise my arms as I stretched. My back feeling stiff from sitting here for hours. I turned to look at the clock and noticed it was nine. I sighed as I got up and left my room. Walking down the stairs I hear my mom on the phone.
I walk into the kitchen and head to my spot at the table. Sitting down I began to tune out of reality and into my own thoughts. 'I wonder how i'm going to get school work and work done if I have to tutor three kids at the same time? Mabey I could make a schedule for what were going to learn first and when to review? Though I would like to have better knowledge of where they are in the material. Why do I have to do this?' I was snapped out of my thoughts by my father calling my name.
"Logan?" He called, he had the same blank face as always. "Yes?" I replied back, hoping he hadn't said something earlier to me. "How was school?" He questioned, while raising a brow. 'Why is he asking? He's never asked about this before. In fact neither of my parents have ever cared much for my personal life.' I sat for a second to think my answer over. "It was fine" I said, as I mentally sighed remembering what happened to day. "Why do you ask?" I asked hoping he actually cared. "I wanted to know what you thought about the kids you are to tutor. I need to make sure you wont disappear and possibly hurt our reputation." He replied as he went back to eating his food. A rush of sadness washed through my body though I didn't show it. No mater how hard I tryed I will never be good enough for my parents.
I went upstairs and got ready for bed. I finished up any work I had left and put it away. Climbing into bed I couldn't help but think back on what happened earlier today. I relized we never discussed where we would meet up because I was to desperate to leave and get home.
I grabbed my phone and looked throught my contacts for virgil.
