As I walked along the dirt path, my ariats leaving marks in the mud, I looked around seeing the house in front of me rotting. But not me! To me it was beautiful. To me it was the X on the map all pirates wanted to find, it was my treasure!
"Lexy, let's go!" My brother Josh yelled, he and his friend Seth were already down the cobblestone path to the front door.
" Coming!" I say as I snap the last picture of a doe and her fawn.

As I ran up the path, and walked inside after Seth, I noticed that it was still intact on the inside, unlike some of the other places I have been to.
" I told you guys this palace was somethin'!" Josh said as he started to look around. Me and Seth stood there in aw. Never had I seen a building with such detail.
The walls had crown molding, and dark green walls. The paintings were still hung, though some had mold on the corners due to water damage.

"Lexy you dressed very well for today" Seth said, with a sweet smile.
"Oh, I suppose I am!" I said with a hint of blush on my cheeks.
Only with Seth was I ever like this. Josh always told me he would be okay if Seth and I were together. Though, I never thought of seth in that way. Until a few months ago. Me and Josh were going to the Conjuring House. When we were there. We had all split up, Josh putting me and Seth together as a joke to get on my nerves. But while we were exploring, I saw a light flash, and the next thing I know, I am on a bed with Seth whispering how much he loves me, and how he feels guilty about what happened.
" Josh can you push the couch closer to the window near the book shelves. I want to get a picture for insta!" I say as I grab a book form the shelves. he nods and grabs my phone talking the picture. It turned out like this.

" Lookin good lex." Seth said. I blush and turned to go up the stairs.
Oh, god! How does he do it. make my heart flutter, stomach turn, and make me feel special. As I walked up the stairs. Josh and Seth decided to stay down to take a few more photos before heading up.
"Seth man, ask my sister out already!" I heard Josh say. " She is totally into you!"
