The harsh morning sun streamed through the expansive glass window of Khan's Mansion, casting an unforgiving glare. Inside, the maids moved with quiet urgency, their faces etched with worry. Their eyes, downcast and anxious, betrayed their deep-seated fear of their Master's infamous temper.
The aroma of food permeated the air. A ravenous Fayra descended the staircase in a floral olive-green dress, a white hijab loosely wrapped around her head, allowing some of her curls to caress her cheeks.
Her dark grey eyes scrutinized the living room before she spotted the figure seated across the black couch, in his white shirt, sleeves rolled up, revealing his toned arms.
His ocean-blue eyes were intently fixed on the large, expensive 8K TV. Fayra stared at him, mystified, before her eyes glanced at the screen; he looked ecstatic.
