Just ONE Day

This is an one shot fanfiction written for contest Mini Romantic Challenge by ContemporaryLit under prompt one of meeting high school sweetheart at class reunion after five years...

(Seoul,evening)

She had gotten off after long 24 hours shift in the busy ER from SNUH...She was exhausted and just want to crash into her bed but she couldn't..She received a message from her friend Lisa regarding highschool reunion last week.She would have passed it usually, but Lisa stated it going to be special as he was coming to the event.Shocked !!

So she went home to freshen up and hopped into her car and drove to the reunion function...

She recognised a few of her peers ,smiled a little and continued until she bumped into him..both lost in each other's eyes until they announced to take respective seats..

He wouldn't have agreed to this reunion but something inside warned him not to miss this opportunity when he knew she was back to seoul..So he arrived and unknowingly bumped into her...

So,he led the way inside and got seats beside each other...destined!!..

She congratulated him for fulfilling his dream with her cute smile..he gave his bunny smile," Thankyou and Congratulations Doctor..I knew it ,when you're more interested in pig dissection back",Both laughed at old memories..

He asked ,"how are you?" she replied," good"..he nodded and asked "boyfriend?" in low hoping to be negative ...she smiled ,"no,I was just busy with studies and shifts"...he was internally dancing.

she asked " and you??" ,he shook negatively ,she quoted "but",he cut her off ,"chae,they are just fanservice and part of the industry...I tried to get over but failed"...she nodded understanding the serious air between them...

He continued," chaevi,I will be honest...I was stupid to announce breakup just for my idol dream by hurting you..but realised that nothing is worth without you at end of the day"...chae breathed,"jungkook?"...he about to reply but interrupted when he was called on stage...

So he took it as an opportunity and said," Hello everyone,many of you already know me ,"as all screamed ,"JK,JK", he continued ,"so I just want to sing a song"

"Thankyou for coming !!" staring at chae...all cheered at him...

She controlled her tears as she knew it's for her....others continued reunion...she got up , he followed back only to stop at their secret spot and sat like old days and watched the sunset...

He called ,"Chae, it's just a breakup but we both are equally heartbroken and devastated for five years, so",but it cut off as she got a call....she excused and answered," I'm coming, okay!!"

She stood up and said ,"I have to go,it's an emergency".. jk felt dejected and had a frown on his face ,she removed her card and pressed in his palm," Let's meet on weekend IF you're free,bunnyboy" and ran off...

"Bunnyboy",he smiled and was happy that he still had a chance...he thought ,"This time ,I will rewrite our story ,my Moon..!!"
