Silent sobs rack my body. I sniff loudly and open my eyes to see-
Eric rhythmically tapping on the steering wheel, his fingers dance off beat. Entranced by his cuteness I don't realise the goofy grin stuck on my face. It surprises me that I'm still fascinated by the smallest things Eric does. Turning my head to the window I see the scenery leaving as fast as it comes, all that's left for me is flurries of their colours.
"You're awake!" Eric's cheery voice makes all my anxiety fade, it was just a nightmare.
"I had the craziest nightmare" I awkwardly laugh while rubbing my eyes. Eric doesn't reply, so I assume he's concentrated on the road. " Uh well, I'm going to turn on the radio" Lifting my head toward Eric, I see him nod slightly. The static radio rambles on, slowly the voices deform...
"Hello again Alex-" It's deep but sexless voice fills my ears once more, my eyes widen...
