"What are you doing?" I asked at the blonde haired boy. He's doing something weird.

He was now sitting on a bench near  hammock at the park.

Eating .. a leaf ??

The boy was chewing while holding a green leaf in his hand. He looked at me. "This."

"Are you crazy?" I almost shouted.

The boy grinned. "Maybe .."

What... did he just agreed?

"I'm... hungry." He said with a low voice.

My eyes widened. Oh no! Poor boy.

Quickly I pulled the boy's hand away causing him to stand up. He looked shocked.

"What?"

I didn't say anything. My hand brushed away the leaf that the boy was holding.

"Don't eat that." I said firmly.

"But-"

Again I pulled his hand away and took him to a grocery store.

We both went in with my hands still tightly holding his hand.

I reached for Dorayaki and gave it to the boy. "Eat this. Maybe this isn't filling but at least it's better than eating leaves."

He looks speechless. But slowly he took the food.

"What is this?"

"It's called dorayaki."

My hand reached into my shirt pocket. Ah .. I forgot that today I was not given pocket money.

How should I pay for this?

"N-Nee, you can have that okay? Go eat at the park earlier. But remember, never eat leaves again! If you're hungry, call me."

"Call? But how?"

I thought for a moment. I'm also looking for the answer.

Ha!

"Just wait at that park around this time. I always pass the area every time school ends."

He smiled cutely. "Okay! Thank you."

I smiled back. "You're welcome."

"See you soon .." the boy moved out of the store while waving his hand.

As soon as he was gone, I started to feel anxious.

Should I just run away? I only took one though. No one would noticed if only one item was missing-

“Hey girl, you will pay for that dorayaki right?" The owner of this place suddenly appear behind me.

I was shocked. "Y-Yes of course."

After that I went back to silence. Standing stiffly there, looking down at the floor.

"Then where's the money?" He asked, making me gasped.

"Err .. actually, i don't have money in me right now. But I promise I'll pay it tomorrow!"

"What?!" The owner's face looked angry. I'm done!

"I will do anything so please forgive me!" I close my eyes. I'm so scared. Thank goodness the boy already left.

The owner's face turned calm. "I'm just kidding, kid."

"Huh?" I opened my eyes.

"I know you. You're Akemi's child, right? It's okay. You don't need to pay for that."
