A few weeks later

Its my 25th birthday and me and kai have been planning it for a while

I swing my arms to kais side but he wasnt there "oh" i mumble and think for a minute
oh hes probably making breakfast i better not ruin it i think to myself and wait a while

Its been 20 minutes and i decide to get up and its silent "kai" i yell walking around if he leaves he would tell me or leave a note but theres nothing
So i decide to call him surely he couldn't of forgotten right

"Hey kai where um where are you" i mumble "oh ive gone out with stefan cant belive out of everyone the weirdo chose me" he laughs and stefan yells in the distance
"Oh um when will you be back" i ask
"Um a few hours" he smiles and puts the phone down
"Hes probably planning the surprise right yeah he would never forget i should go get dressed up" i smile to myself going to get dress

Its been three hours and i have been sat on the couch mostly watching tv crying and someone knocks on the door and i wipe my tears cleaning my makeup hoping it was kai and i answer it to see enzo with a big smile holding a present "oh its you" i mumble going to sit down
"Ouch" he mumbles and i laughs
"Whats up with your face" he mumbles "excuse me" i say shocked
"No no you look gorgeous it just seems like you have been crying" he mumbles "my boyfriend is an idiot" i mumble taking the present from his hands "he forgot" he states and i nod
"Well madelyn listen he loves you and he may have of forgoten him but this shows that you put up with his shit like you do with everyone else and you are both madly in love and he will always love you" he smiles taking my hands and i smile and kiss his cheek then kai walks in to see me and enzo holding hands

"What are you doing here...why are you all dressed up, where you two going out" he yells his smile dropping from his face and we both stay silent"wow madelyn i didnt think you was this slutty" he mumbles and enzo stands up "ARE YOU KIDDING ME I JUST STOOD UP FOR YOU" he yells and kai punches him
"KAI" I yell running to him but he sends me flying back into the glass table shattering underneath me and the glass shards going into my back making me wince in pain
"Aw your defending you boy-toy" he mumbles not looking at me
"You what" enzo spits clearly pissed
And kai gives him a headache
"Kai stop" i yell from the floor tears flooding out of my eyes
"Why it isnt a special occasion like our anniversary or something" he yells punching enzo over and over again as enzo gets weaker
"ITS MY BIRTHDAY YOU DICKHEAD" I scream and he stops all his movements and looks at me
"I-im sorry" he whispers running to me and i stand up and enzo looks at me "enzo go im fine" i mumbles and he vamp speeds out
"Madelyn im sorry" he mumbles walking up to me
"Stay away from me" i mumble walking to the kitchen
"No madelyn im sorry" he yells
"What can you do kai you have forgotten my birthday you have hurt me and my bestfriend who just stuck up for you and you promised me i will have a good birthday" i yell

He puts me down on the toilet and turns the hot water on "ok im gonna go get some ibropathen you stay there" he mumbles kissing my forehead leaving and i am just sat there processing everything and i begin to cry again and walks in
"Oh no please dont cry again please cupcake" he mumbles hugging me
"I-im sorry" i mumble
"Why are you sorry dont be sorry baby you have done nothing wrong" he mumbles and i hide my face in his chest and he undoes my dress
"Come on gorgeous" he mumbles qnd i stand up taking my dress fully off and he smiles at the lace underwear i was wearing "you wore this for me" he mumbles and i nod and he helps me unclip my bra and i take off my underwear getting in the bath relaxing as the hot water hits my skin and the steam calming me down
"Are you ok can i see you head" he mumbles and i sit up abit and he puts a white cold cloth on it making me wince and he takes it away to show some blood "i-im so so sorry" he mumbles tears forming in his eyes
