The four friends were going home together when Jisung's phone rang.
"Hello?" Jisung asks involuntarily.
"Ah! You're Jisung right?" ask a female voice
With a puzzled expression on his face, Ji-sung checked who the caller was, but it was an unknown number.
"Who are you and what do you want?" ask Jisung
"Tsk, this brat. Don't you recognize your own sister?!" said the female voice
Right, Jisung does seem to have an older sister? But, didn't she study in London? Why is she calling him at this hour?
"What seems to be the problem?" Jisung ask
"Meet me now at the cafe where we usually went when we were younger." answer his sister
Jisung hung up the phone and put the phone in his pocket. Taking a deep breath, he turned to his friends.
"You guys go ahead without me, I'm meeting someone," said Jisung
Although they are good friends, his friends didn't know Jisung had an older sister.
"Meeting someone?" asks Minho
"Yes" Jisung reply
"Who? Your girlfriend?" ask Renjun
"That's sexy," said Jaemin
Jisung just smiled without answering them.
* At the cafe *
"What took you so long?" asked his sister with a pout
"I mean, I just came from school, what did you expect?" said Jisung
Hyein pretended to be hurt, saying, "Your sister Hyein is heartbroken by your indifference."
"Okay, fine. Sorry, happy? Anyway, what brings you back to Korea?" Jisung ask
"I heard that there are two new transfer students at your school. They're both females, right? I also heard that Jisoo seems to be attracted to Minho. Are you sure you want to leave Jisoo alone? Isn't she like, your love rival?" said Hyein
Nobody, not even his parents, knows Jisung is gay. However, only his older sister knows. It all started when he accidentally said something when he was 10 years old.
"Nuna" said the young Jisung
"Aw? What's wrong?" ask Hyein who tuck Jisung to bed
Jisung said, "When I see Minho, my heart races.
"Really? Maybe you've just realized how handsome Minho is?" said Hyein teasingly
The young Jisung rolls his eyes at his sister's words, "I know he's handsome since the day we first met! It's just that this time, I always feel self-conscious when I'm with him. I also feel like my heart is burning like a volcano. Even though I see him but I miss him whenever I get away from him. we just walk home together a few hours ago and yet I already miss him." said Jisung
Hyein's hands froze. What did she just hear? Her brother couldn't be gay, right? right!?
"It's normal to miss a friend," said Hyein carefully
"Friends? I guess we're friends. But why does the word "friend" hurt so much?" asked Jisung as his eyes began to be teary
Hyein bites her lips fearfully. The world isn't a friendly place. No, it isn't. She must protect her little brother at all costs.
