"Tenko, can you please bring it here. It's about time for it."

"Sure, give me a minute."

As Tenko left a living room, Izuku got slightly nervous. He knew what this was about, it was obviously his birthday present. The thing is, as far as he can remember, he always got some kind of hero merch on his birthday. This was a problem, since he gave up on heroes and didn't want to see anything related to it. It was now that he realized that it might have been for the best if he told them about that decision.

Tenko finally returned with a gift. It wasn't something all that big, just about the size of box for shoes, which made Izuku even more nervous.

"And here it is, come here little guy." Tenko said as he gave the box to his little brother.

Izuku chuckled. "Thank you." He said and started opening his present.

"Please no hero merch, please no hero merch..." Izuku was repeating in his mind. Izuku finally opened his present to reveal what was inside.

"Microphone...?" Izuku said with a hint of shock in his voice as a faintly smiled.

"I noticed some time ago that you got rid of your hero stuff, so I figured that it might be time to change things up this year." Tenko said.

"I hope you like it." Inko said.

Without their notice, a small tear ran down Izuku's cheek. "Thank you, this is great." Izuku said as more tears of joy ran down his face.

Tenko gave his brother a hug. "Jeez, you're such a crybaby." He said as he stopped hugging his brother. "Why don't you try it out. I already took a liberty of installing some recording software on your notebook beforehand."

"How did you get into my notebook in a first place?"

"AllGuy1234, writing your password on the inside of battery is pretty clever, not gonna lie. Still, take this warning as another gift for today." Tenko said, petting his brother on the back.

"Noted... Well, I guess it can't hurt to try it out." Izuku said and went to his room to bring his notebook. "There you are buddy, let's go." He said as he picked up his notebook. However, he also noticed the family photo that once saved his life.

I'm sorry.
It hurts so much.
Is it alright for a failiure like me to live?

Izuku shook his head. "Why am I thinking about it? I'd say it was worth it just for this one moment." He thought and walked back into a living room.

"I got it, let's set it up." Izuku said as he and Tenko started preparing everything while Inko went to clean the kitchen.

After some time, everything was set up.

"Allright, let's record you playing piano." Tenko said.

"Hold up, I thought we will just do mic-check, not start like this already."

"Aww come on, it will work anyways, so let's make the first recording memorable." Tenko said, trying to convince him.

"Fine, fine, I will do it. Happy?" Izuku said with slightly annoyed tone.

"Very much..." Tenko replied happily.

Izuku sighed. "What should I play? Maybe something from Beethoven, I practiced that one alot."

Izuku thought as he sat down to a piano.

"Allright, let's do this." He said and started playing.

Izuku wiped sweat from his forehead in relief. "Man that was hard, but I think I nailed it." He thought.

"That was beautiful honey." Inko said in tears. This was the very first time she heard Izuku play.

"I am so proud." She said as she hugged her son.

Izuku was abit suprised by his mother's reaction, but hugged her back regardless.

"Amazing as always bro, I think you might actually go pro with this much skill." Tenko said.

In that moment, a memory not from too long ago crossed Izuku's mind.

"Have you ever thought about becomming a musician?"
"If you ever change your mind, it will be best to keep this around."

For a moment, Izuku's smile turned into a smirk without anyone's notice. "You know what? That's not such a bad idea." He thought.

"Okay, let's hear what we recorded, shall we?" Izuku said as he looked at Tenko.

"Oh yea, I almost forgot." Tenko said as he started looking for the audio folder. "And found it, let's see."

Tenko then pressed the play button, but all that could be heard was static sound.  (Loud sound alert!)

"Tenko, I think we screwed up recording settings." Izuku said.

Tenko chuckled. "Ok, I really wasn't expecting this. I guess second time will be the charm." He said.

"Yeah, let's do some testing to get this thing working properly this time."

It was at midnight. Inko and Tenko were already sleeping after Izuku's birthday party, however the green-haired boy was still awake in his room.

"Where did I put it, I know it has to be somewhere in these drawers." He said as he was searching trough his table drawers.

Izuku sighed. "Ok, this is the last one, if it's not here, I am screwed." He said as he started taking things out of the drawer. "Ducktape,... glue,... why do I have split sunglasses here?" He kept going trough his things, until he finally found it.

A victorious smirk spread across his face. "Here you are."

"It will be best to keep this around."

"You were right mr. Nakano, this just might turn out to be the start of something really good." He said as he looked at the business card.

"Akuma Records huh... interesting. Let's see who you are." He said as he sat down to his notebook and started searching the net.

"Established just 30 years ago... Acting CEO is Taichi Kirihara... It looks like they have a pretty long list of popular idols under their name despite their short history." Izuku read some more as his gaze eventually averted towards the business card near his right hand.

"Do I have what it takes to pull off something like this?" Izuku asked himself.

"Perhaps, I should try to do a small test first." He thought as a new idea was born inside his mind.
