"So, you wanna join your brother?"
Izuku said as he stared at Daichi.
Daichi scoffed. "That moron always charges head-first without thinking. Serves him right honestly." Daichi remarked as he cracked his knuckles. "That being said, I won't go easy on you like he did."
Daichi then tried to punch Izuku, but he managed to dodge. However, when Izuku tried to grab Daichi, he felt a sudden surge of power paralizing him for a second. Daichi took advantage of this and kicked Izuku in the stomach.
"What the hell was that. I couldn't move at all there." Izuku thought as he looked at Daichi. "Was that his quirk?... Only one way to find out."
Izuku attempted to punch Daichi, but again, his body stopped for a moment. Now however, Izuku could feel that the power surging trough him felt rather familiar.
Daichi punched Izuku away and looked at him with smirk.
"What's wrong? Can't handle my quirk?" He said in mocking manner.
"Say, do you happen to have paralysis based quirk?" Izuku asked, looking at Daichi.
"Took you long enough to figure it out. I was expecting something more from someone of your reputation." Daichi said.
"What does he mean by that!?" Izuku thought, uncertain what Daichi was talking about.
"Since I was so nice to show you my quirk, why don't you finally show yours? Or is it perhaps that you can't... Deku."
Izuku's eyes widened as he heard that nickname. That one thing nobody in here should be aware of.
"Did I strike a nerve? Are you really that sensitive about a nickname from your friends at Aldera?" Daichi kept talking.
"He knows? HE FUCKING KNOWS!" Izuku was thinking as his blood started to boil with anger.
"You're walking on a thin ice here. Better stop befor-"
"Before what? Before you use your quirk? I want to see you try without one you quirkless loser." Daichi interrupted Izuku's attempted threat.
At this moment, Izuku knew his best advantage was out of the window. Everybody now knew that there is nothing Izuku has that could defend him, which was a mistake.
"Fine, this guy wants to make himself look like bigshot. I'll humored him this far, but I am done... First, if his quirk can paralyze me, then how far can he reach with it? Or, does it work with nonliving objects too?" Izuku was thinking.
"I might have an idea." Izuku unbuttoned his uniform's left sleeve and went for another punch.
Once again, Izuku was stopped in his tracks. What he wanted to accomplish here however wasn't to deal damage, but to observe the effect of paralysis.
"My sleeve still moved even when paralyzed. Good, this should be enough to assume he can only paralyze my body. Given that he always stops me barely before my punches land, it should mean that his range is just few inches from his body... That means the best strategy would be to attack him from range or to use longer weapon." Izuku was thinking as he looked around for something he could use.
"Something with range... Even better something heavy too..." Izuku looked around even more, when he finally figure out what could help.
Izuku smiled and turned away from Daichi. "Ok ok, time-out. I want to check what time it is." He said, but one guy in the crowd got in his way to his stuff.
"No time-out here." He said and tried to push Izuku back.
Izuku however stepped back and then punched him in the face. "And I say I am checking what time it is. Got it..." He said and started going trough his backpack.
He finally found his phone and put it back. "Ok, thanks for waiting." He said as he grabbed his backpack and went back to face Daichi.
"You better start trying, or I just might trip you over the edge Deku." Daichi taunted Izuku.
Izuku rushed at Daichi, still holding his backpack and swung it. Daichi tried to dodge it, but Izuku still managed to hit him in the head, knocking him to the ground.
"ARE YOU INSANE ASSHOLE!" Daichi yelled at Izuku, who was simply staring at him with indifference.
"What are you babbling about. You can paralyze me and make me your punching bag, but I can't even use my own bag to smash your teeth in? Do you really think you are in any position to claim I am the insane one here?" Izuku told him and swung his bag again, once more hitting Daichi's head.
"It's so easy to get you on your knees once your tricks are exposed. Bet you didn't think you will be getting destroyed by a quirkless kid huh."
Izuku smashed Daichi's face time and time again, pushing him to the edge of the rooftop.
With one last swing upwards, Daichi crumbled to the edge, his head looking down on the pavement.
Izuku stepped on his throat with minor pressure, so he would be sure not to do anything stupid.
"Now then, let's talk for real now. I have a pretty strong feeling that you don't like me, so let's go with this idea. You will leave me AND Nakano over there alone for the rest of this year. In return, I won't do anything to you guys and after this year, you won't hear from me ever again. Sounds like a deal?" Izuku said with a kind smile on his face as he stepped slightly harder on Daichi's neck.
You could see few tears running down Daichi's face as it was slowly turning blue, before he finally gave up and started nodding in agreement with Izuku's proposal.
Izuku finally stepped off Daichi's throat.
"Marvelous. I am glad to see we can agree like reasonable people here." Izuku said as he turned around and looked at everyone else who watched them. It was clear to Izuku just from their scared expressions alone that his plan was a success.
"Now if you excuse us, me and Nakano have a bus to catch."
