"Dear brother, it seems a boy has arrived into town today." Mabel Gleeful smirked. "He seems to be infatuated with that Southeast girl."

"Ah.... Pacifica.." Dipper's voice trailed off. "Yes yes, her." Mabel said. "Dipper, won't you go drop some invites off to them." Mabel continued, "He's kind of cute.. I guess, and I bet he hasn't heard of our party." Mabel proceeded to search for two envelopes that each had a invite in them, a paper that said 'Gleefuls annual party at the Gleeful manor this weekend; etc, etc.' "Oh, and while you're at it, see if they can fix the ghost problem."

Once Dipper had arrived to town he started his search for the new boy and Pacifica, which didn't take long. He bumped into them, literally. Which resulted into Pacifica over-dramatically saying "Ow." and the two boys acting as if it never happened.

"Ohh!!! Dipper!! Heyyyyy!!!" She smiled ear to ear. "Gideon, this is my good buddy Dipper Gleeful, heck you could even say he's my bestie." She put a hand on his shoulder and looked up at the boy psychic. "Isn't that right, bestie?" You could practically hear her smile when she spoke. Dipper kept the same blank expression, despite the fact that he found it pretty amusing. "No." He shook his head. "Quite the opposite, Pacifica." Pacifica's smile was close to a frown, she looked disappointed that he didn't play along.

"Alright, alright. You got me, but anyway, Dipper this is Gideon Pines, he's living at the shack this summer. Crazy, huh? I only work there part time but just imagine living in it." She stifled a laugh. "Weird." She giggled out.

"So.." she started. "What brings you to town?" she continued. "You two actually." Dipper almost rolled his eyes. "Awwwwhh!! You do wanna be my bestie! Bring it in, bff hug. Gimme some sugar, boo." She never used the words 'bestie', 'bff', or 'boo', so luckily, it was obvious she was joking the whole time.

She hugged him in a tight, unrequited hug. Dipper tried to remain calm and not get flustered, which was easy, until she let go after a series of "Stop"s from Dipper.

Gideon tried to stifle a laugh the whole time. "I came to give you two invites to my family party this weekend."

"Party?" Gideon questioned

"Yes party, my family the Gle-" Dipper was suddenly interrupted by Pacifica. "Oh, Gideon! It's the greatest party ever." She had her hands close together and started moving them apart, like a bigger version of jazz hands as her eyes practically sparked with stars.

Dipper didn't continue to speak, not wanting to take his chances at being interrupted again. He just pulled out the two envelopes and handed them to Pacifica. "I hope to see you there... bestie." He winked, joking. "Ah, and you too Gideon, my sister would probably like you." Dipper walked off without another word, no mentioning the ghost problem. "Like me?" Gideon asked to no one in specific. "Probably as a friend, I mean she dates a lot of guys and then they just.. disappear, after she breaks up with them. I guess. It's just a rumor." Pacifica answered. She looked down at Gideon and grabbed half of the flyers from him. "We should get back to putting these up."
