Your POV
(A/N) if you don't know Spanish then you will probably need a translator!  

I woke up to my mom hitting me with a pillow and said "¿Ya es de mañana?" I groaned. My mom said  "Sí, soy Mija, pero tengo aglo que decirte" great just my luck.

"Vale, mamá, pero ¿puedo cambiarme primero?" I asked. "Sí, por supuesto, Mija" my mom responded. So I got up and quickly jumped in the shower.

While I was in the shower all I could think was what my mom needed to tell me. After I got out of the shower I changed into my favorite pair of jeans and one of my older brothers shirts. After I did my hair and my makeup I ran downstairs to see what my mom needed to tell me.

"Hola, mamá, ¿qué necesitabas decirme?" I asked. "Look Mija" she started, "what do you mean by look" I said. "Mira, sé que te encanta vivir aquí, pero" she said "Mom but what" I asked " look we have to move to Seattle,Washington because I got hired at a great company" she said "oh ok" I responded "Espera lo que no estás enfadado" she said confused.

"Look mom it's fine as long you are happy I am too ok and plus you haven't had a job for 5 years so let's move!!!" I said and I saw that she started to cry. "Aww mom no llores" I say as I hug her.

She wiped her tears then said  "Ok mija we move mañana" "Ok ma ima hang out with Abril see you later" I said as I hugged her goodbye. Then I yelled and said "I hope the boys take the news well" "Don't worry mija I already told them" she yelled back.

TIME SKIP

Your POV

"Hey Abril, ¿cómo estás?" I asked her as I walked up to her. "Hey gringa yo estoy bien, ¿cómo estás tú?" She replied. I chuckled I really don't know why she calls me gringa when I'm darker than her so really she's the gringa.

"So why did you call me?" She asked. "Because I have something to tell you" I said kinda sad. "What is it gringa" she said as she smiled. "Look I'm moving to Seattle,Washington and since your my best friend I thought you should know" I said trying not to cry.

Then she had to say this. "Mira gringa even though you are moving I will still be your friend plus I can visit you all the time ok" she said almost on the verge of tears.

Then I started to cry and I hugged her. And then she started to cry as well and hugged me back. About 10 minutes later and we finally stopped crying.

For the rest of the time we went to the park and had a small party of just us two, and we danced for a while and then it started raining and we just danced in the rain, but sooner or later I had to go home to pack. I got back home at 10:30pm and everyone was sleeping so I went to my room and packed quickly. It was 12:00am when I went to sleep.

(A/N) I know this chapter is short but I'm not a good writer but this is the first chapter and Ik this doesn't have a lot of description but I'm trying my best so I hope you like it💕💕
