~{the day}~
"Bennett help meeeeee I don't know what to wearrrrrr." "Well I'd probably go with a sweater or some extra layers since it IS Dragonspine you're going to, though personally idk why you like that place it's too cold for me." "It's because it's quiet there and thanks I know exactly what to wear now." I decided to go with a white collar shirt and a black sweater over it. It's time to meet up with Albedo. I walk over to Good Hunter and he's already waiting for me there, "Good morning Albedo" I say as I approach him. "Ah good morning to you too Lavender." "Shall we set off then?" I say "I don't see why not" ..... We start making our way up to the mountain as we start our hike I decided to make some small talk, "I don't remember the last time I spent my time like this with somebody other than bennet since most of my free time is either with him on adventures or alone in dragonspine so this is nice :)" "Come to think of it I don't remember the last time I spent time with somebody on my personal time either." He responded. "Whenever I get time off I usually end up spending time with my younger sister, or going over my alchemy notes." "Well I'm glad I get to spend my time with you Albedo you're fun to be around :D" You give him a sincere smile as you continue walking, though you don't notice it since you're paying attention to the falling snow Albedo's face flushes a little at your compliment. Continuing up the mountain it's almost lunchtime, thankfully we were almost at the first lookout point so we can stop to have lunch there. "C'mon Albedo the first spot is just up ahead and I brought something to repay you for the delicious food you cook for me :)" You climb up to the area and sit with your legs dangling off the edge you start eating your lunch you brought and Albedo starts eating his after you both are done you say that you can eat the treat now "I apologize for it being cold but I do hope you like it." You pull out some homemade ice cream from a chilled container in your bag. You brought some spoons as well to share, "I hope you like it I made it myself." He takes a small scoop and tastes the ice cream . . . . He loved it, though he never told you his favorite things to eat are desserts and sugary things and this fits perfectly into both of the categories. "I love it Lavender though I never do think I told you that I quite like sugary treats I think this was just a nice coincidence." You smile at his comments on your ice cream since his cooking was already so much better than yours. You quickly finish off the delicious ice cream and pack up to finish your hike. On your way to the top you start trying to make small talk about Albedo but he kind of avoided the topic and you never bothered to pry since everyone has their own stuff. Once reaching the top I say we've arrive to which Albedo is confused but I show him the dandelion trick I use so he realizes that where we are going is not forward but up. When we arrive at the top I realized that we were just in time to watch the sunset, "Albedo come quick or you're gonna miss it." I say as he climbs onto the top of the structure to meet me at the edge. I sit down and he sits down next to me so I show him the view, as we watch the sunset I say "The view from up here never ceases to amaze me no matter how many times I come up here, oh that reminds me I have one last thing to show you." I move back to the middle of the structure and pull out my lyre, I start playing a song that a while back and could never remember why but I wanted to show Albedo since it was the perfect spot to do so. When the song finishes he seemed to be lost in thought. "Albedo? Did you zone out?" You questioned "Yes apologies I was just thinking is all, that song where did you hear it?" He asks, "I don't know you respond I think I may have heard it somewhere and it popped into my mind when playing the lyre one day I suppose." "I believe that that's the song I was humming when we first met." "Well that's probably why I had such the urge to play it for you then. Now since we're done here I suppose it's time for the fun part :)" "Hm?" "I need you to grab onto me and make sure not to let go ok :)" As soon as he does I start sprinting at full speed towards the edge, "Lavender are you out of your mind! We're gonna fall!" Not listening to him I jump off the edge pushing out into the air "WoooohOoo"after a small amount of time spent falling I immediately deployed my wind glider. "See it's all according to the plan Albedo, it's a fast and efficient way to get down the mountain and it's fun hehe." Albedo not really understanding what happened was actually having fun once he regained his bearings. "Wow the view from up here is phenomenal, you know Lavender I never did actually consider this way to get down the mountain I have always just walked down the mountain." "Well you should try it sometime, it's a lot more efficient that's for sure." For the first time in a while the alchemist had actually had fun. Once we finally get down to the bottom Albedo thanked me for the ice cream and for inviting him and asks if we could do it again sometime soon, of course I agree so we decided to go with his plans this time.
