What a nice song I'm sure it definitely won't become relevant again at some point
When you return to dragonspine the next day to do some more research with Albedo you find he's asleep and he doesn't seem to be wearing his coat or gloves. Hmmmm I thought for a moment and decide to put them on since he's not awake what damage can it cause? When you put on his coat it has some heft to it though not so much as to be a burden it's quite comforting to you and his gloves are very warm as well, though as quickly as I put on his coat he woke up and he's still a little hazy but he knows that it's me. "Oh good morning Darling, are you cold?" He asked because he's realized that I'm wearing his coat and gloves, "oh I uhm..." I'm at a loss for words since I was caught wearing his clothes. "Cute~" he said but when he saw me flush he quickly had realized that he voiced his thoughts aloud and had flushed too, trying to cover it up he said "I just meant like it is in good contrast with your hair." He then rerouted the conversation. "Say Lavender shall we go up the mountain today instead?" "I don't see why not it's been a while since we have anyways." We start to make our way up the mountain and as we do I think about how he doesn't mind that he gave me his coat for now and how warm it is :P at some point Albedo had started to make small talk, "I quite liked the cake that you made for me Lavender the flavor was sublime and it was very well made." "Oh thank you Albedo I spent a lot of time on it and perfecting the design so that really means a lot to me, though I'm not much of a cook I do enjoy baking quite a lot. Oh by the way how do you like the microscope does it work ok?" "It works fine I spent quite some time looking at things under it and then I eventually fell asleep until morning. Though I appreciate the thought of the gift as well since it is something that will be of great use to me." After we talked for a bit we had reached the top and used a dandelion to get all the way up and had sat down for a while I took off Albedo's gloves and started to play some songs on my lyre and after a song or two Albedo had asked if he could try it out as well. "Of course you can try I'm interested to see what you will play." I handed him the lyre and he started to strum a song.... Wait a minute it's a song that I know you hum it for a while then you eventually start to sing the lyrics ... "*and then the grey clouds cry rain pours down from the sky, I think that we both know the world is full of sorrow, but if the clouds cry too I don't know what we'll do*" "Ah I see you are familiar with this tune as well." "Oh yeah, I used to hear it all the time when I was a child though I was never sure why it was always so downbeat but I'm sure I'll realize eventually." As the sun was setting you're sitting there with Albedo watching the sun set and he starts to say something. "Uhm there's something I wanted to tell you but I feared rejection and disappointment, *aheM* I would really like for you to help me with the concept on how to love." I stopped for a brief second to ponder on what he just said• • • "I will sure try my best." I responded, a smile of relief washed over his face and immediately makes him feel better. "If there's anyone who I would want to help with that it would be you, though we should probably head back to town soon since it's getting late." "Agreed he says shall we glide back?" I asked before he secured himself around my waist once more with his head next to mine, I start to run to get some forward momentum and then I deployed my glider.
