Katsuki paced nervously across the roof. He tugged on the collar of his suit, slightly loosening his tie. " Come on, man. You're Katsuki fuckin' Bakugo, you can do this." He said to himself. Truly, he'd never been more nervous in his entire life. Today was a big day.

" Fuck, hurry up, Eiji." Katsuki ran his hands down his face, groaning. The nerves got worse as the minutes slowly passed. He was waiting for Eijirou to bring Izuku up to the roof of the agency with him. The redhead had been with him all day, keeping him busy while Katsuki set up.

Today was the day. The day he'd propose to the love of his life, the man of his dreams. Izuku Midoriya. And if all went as planned, soon to be Izuku Bakugo. Katsuki replayed that name in his mind over and over. He loved the way it sounded, loved that it meant he and Izuku would finally be wed.

...

Katsuki felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He opened it and read the text he was sent.

Shitty Hair

On our way up, get ready!

The blonde's heart stopped for a moment, he took a deep breath to steady himself. He was ready. He was going to do it. Finally. " This is it, deep breaths, Katsuki." He reminded himself.

The door to the roof was slowly pushed open. Katsuki turned to face them, seeing Izuku's face made him smile. Suddenly, all of the nerves melted away. He was lost in the beauty of his lover.

Izuku, however, looked quite confused. He hadn't quite placed Katsuki yet, but he knew he was to look for him. At least, that's what Eijirou had told him. " Babe?" He called, looking around for a moment before his eyes landed on his partner.

Immediately, he too smiled. He knew exactly what was about to happen. Katsuki might be an amazing hero, performing perfectly under pressure, but the man could not keep a secret from Izuku. It was hilarious for Izuku to watch his partner try and cover his tracks.

At one point, he'd walked in on Katsuki crocheting a frog hat. Something he only ever did when he was incredibly jittery, most of the time due to nerves. When he asked what was wrong, all he got in response was " Nothing, love," with a wobbly smile. It was adorable, especially since Izuku knew that the frog hat would end up being a gift for him.

Izuku made his way over to the blonde, pausing to look at all of the details that had been meticulously planned and placed. There were orange tulips, Izuku's favorite, strewn across the ground. Pictures of the two growing up together had been framed and placed all around, lit up with the fairy lights that wrapped around the railing of the roof. But his favorite part, the most sentimental of all of the details, was the place they were standing. The two used to spend hours on top of the roof of this building, simply enjoying their time together and making memories to last a lifetime.

Katsuki was crying. He was so ready for this moment, it had been in the works for the better part of three years. And finally, it was happening. He wiped his eyes, trying to make sure he could actually see his partner. Luckily, he'd made sure he set up a video camera to capture the moment. Initially, it was for friends and family, being that the couple had discussed it and both preferred to keep this memory as intimate as possible. But he'd soon realized he was very relieved to have it. He wanted to watch it back and hopefully be able to see it again through clear eyes.

Finally, Izuku made it to Katsuki. At that point, they were both nearing the point of ugly sobs. " Hi," Izuku said, laughing. He was so happy to be there, having that moment with Katsuki all to himself. Katsuki laughed as well, again, attempting to dry his ever-flowing tears.
