[Knock, knock]

My knuckles tapped against the door repeatedly, as I stood out in the snow, waiting for someone to let me in.

"I should've gotten a spare key when I had the chance.", I thought, sighing. I turned my back to the door, and leaned on it.

"Knock- OW!", I hissed, as my back fell to the floor. I looked forward in my angle, to realize that my sister, Nozomi, had opened the door.

"This is what happens when you do dumb things.", she said, as I hastily and wearily stood up.

I rolled my eyes. "Sure, sure. Not like I was the one who clogged one of the toilets with a cookie because I wanted to pretend to have a goldfish funeral.", I reminded, half-harshly nudging her arm and stepping in.

"I just wanted to prepare for our goldfishes' funerals.", she replied, locking the door. One of the fish has been alive for four or more years now, which is quite surprising for a goldfish, so I suppose it won't be much of a surprise if the fish dies soon.

Throwing my shoes to the side of the door, I continued to run upstairs. Halfway there, "You're still paying the plumber next week!", I yelled back.

"No fair... You literally always take half the money I earn, why can't you pay for half?", she asked, running to the stairs, as I ran up and planned to lock myself in my room.
