The next chapter will be longer, I have plans for it.
The basement was extremely dark. It was pretty grimy too. Sun was worried if he should even step in but was assured it would be fine. After all, they still had a flashlight. It didn't help Sun's fears but he decided he'd have to not look anxious. He was afraid he would scare Gregory. Sun prepared himself and put a foot in the darkness, he would probably end up loosing control. Maybe, just maybe everything would be ok. The flashlight should work, at least he assumed because it was light.
When they got down there in the darkness he could feel the struggle and pull. Much to his relief Gregory shined his flashlight on him. They walked through the darkness with the beam on sun. Eventually they saw something strange, it was endoskeletons of Freddy. They were carbon copies, their eyes were a piercing red, it looked unnatural. They moved every time the group looked away. While the rest of the group grew quietly concerned, Sun voiced it, "I don't think this is a good idea. This is kinda scary." Gregory nodded in agreement. Freddy was concerned too, he started questioning his existence because of the copies.
After a while of things going good Gregory realized that his flashlight was running dead. He didn't have much time. They had to go as fast as they could. They picked up their speed and looked away, Gregory realized he made a horrible mistake. Freddy couldn't stop the endoskeletons, Sun couldn't either. They didn't stop when Freddy or Sun looked at them. He did the first thing he could think of, he jumped in a green dumpster to hide. He was surrounded. He really hoped those things were dumb. He was crouched down when he realized that Moon was probably on the loose. Freddy was not safe. He'd probably be there for a while.
When he thought he was safe he peaked out. They had left but Freddy and Sun were gone. That definitely wasn't a good sign. He creeped through the hall and reached some weird doors. They had pictures on them, Gregory was kind of creeped out. The pictures were kinda creepy. After some confusion, he managed to get through. Luckily he ended up reaching Freddy, he did look a little more out of shape than normal, damaged. Sun or Moon was nowhere in sight. Freddy ran away from Moon so he had no clue where he went. There was no signal on the Fazwatch, Freddy had to stick with him.
After cautiously walking for a while, they saw red glowing eyes. It crept closer and giggled in a raspy voice, that was definitely Moon. They started running, Freddy put him in his chest cavity. They almost got cornered until Freddy knocked something over. Moon sounded annoyed and said something about cleaning up. Freddy wasted no time to leave the basement, Moon was closing the distance. When they reached the outside of the basement the lights were off. They had five minutes. By the time they hit the third Moon had almost grabbed Freddy a couple of times. Eventually they reached an open area, Moon almost grabbed Freddy but stopped. He had heard Gregory's panicked breathing. Moon knew, Moon put his hand on the chest cavity. Before he could pry it open the lights snapped back on.
Sun stood there in shock. He wasn't really sure what Moon was about to do but he definitely didn't like it. It was kinda disturbing to think of what could have happened. Gregory's heart was still racing, Sun drawing back like he had been burned did not ease his worries.
