Kirby: Future of the Star Warrior

Chapter 1: Dark Return

Twenty years after the incident with Void happened and peace for the most part was brought upon Popstar. However, suddey a bright object was flying towards Popstar with shadows  following it

It was Kirby flying on his warp star. He was wearing a damaged mask similar to Meta Knights. The mask was cracked and scratched. His pink body was covered in cuts and wounds. The warp star was starting to catch fire due to the seer speed and was going a bit out of control. "Just...a bit more..."

In a small cottage outside of King Dedede's kingdom, a young adult fairy girl with pink hair in a red dress was staring out the window. She stared at the sky with her head in her hands. "Kirby, come back... It been months..." the girl sighed. This was Ribbon, a fairy from Ripplestar who moved to Popstar to live with Kirby. She has been with Kirby for years.

As she stared, she saw the something in the sky start to shine bright. This instantly caught Ribbon's eye and she took a look. She gasped. It was the warp star. "KIRBY!? But...where is the Halberd!?" Ribbon left the window and flew out the door in a hurry. "Oh please be ok! Kirby, please!"

Meanwhile, at King Dedede castle. Outside the castle King Dedede was having a speech to his citizens. Although he has more grey feather, he still wearing a similar attire to what he wore years ago. As he giving this long and kinda boring speech, there was a young adult human girl in a beautiful green dress and crown almost falling asleep in a seat behind King Dedede. "Adeleine, wake up dear", Queen Ripple shook the girl awake. "Oh-", Adeleine's yawns. "Sorry Mom."
After what happened with Void, King Dedede adopted Adeleine as his daughter. And soon after that King Dedede married Queen Ripple.

"Thank you! Thank you everyone!" King Dedede yelled out to the crowd before turning around and walking away, a Waddledee in a knight helmet and a spear follows him out. Adeleine and Ripple stand up and walk next to the king. Ripple wraps around Dedede's arm. "You did an excellent job dear", she gave a small smile to her husband. "Ah shucks! It's nothing. All I have to do is turn on the Dedede charm!" He laughed. "Still need to work on your timing dad", Adeleine nervously chuckle. "You know I get lost in the excitement, Princess."

As they got into the castle, Adeleine walked away from the two to her room. Except the armor Wadledee followed the artist turned to princess. She sighs. "Dee you don't have to follow me everywhere. You know I could handle myself even when I was a little kid, right? Not like we fought side by side for years", she snickers. The Dee took off his helmet to show a blue bandana. He rubbed his head in embarrassment. "Sorry Ade-I mean princess!" She chuckled. "No need to be so formal dork. Now excuse me, I'm going to go change." "Ok, I'll go, but call if there is any intruders!" Dee marched away. "Why would there be an-  oh never mind."

Adeleine entered her very stylish and big room, fit for a princess. She walked packed her closet full of beautiful dresses to her bed. She bent down and pulled a chest out under her bed. She opens it up and the chest is full of more casual clothing, similar to the outfits she used to wear as a kid. "Time to just relax-What's that?" She say to herself as something out the window blinds her from how bright it was. She pulls out some sunglasses from the chest and puts it on to look out her window. "Is that?..."

She looks more closely and her eyes widen. She saw the warp star. "Kirby!?" She quickly ran to her room and changed out of her royal attire. "Dededad, I'm going to see Kirby!" "Ok but please use the-", Adeleine jumped out her window, "DOOR!!!" Adeline pulled out her paintbrush and made a kracko before she hit the ground and flew off. "Damn that kid can be chaotic..." Dedede sighed. Ripple giggled. "Let the girl live dear. Do you think we should see Kirby with her?" Dedede though to himself. "Yeah, let's see him", he said. Dedede wondered to himself why Kirby was here so early.

In the middle of a empty field the warp star can be seen crashing into the ground. As the warp star hit the ground it shattered into dust and Kirby is seen tumbling across the ground. He was in even more bad shape due to the crash landing. Kirby flipped to his back and took off his mask. He tried to sit up, but due to his injuries he laid back down and passed out.
