Chapter Eight: I'm a ..

Finally after waiting an hour the doctor arrives

"Hello I'm Dr.Francis McClean, are you a relative of the patient ? I need to speak with family only at this moment"

" I'm Adeya's fri- , I'm her fiancé Ezerial, How's she doing ?" I lie, I need to know what happed to her

" Well after running some test on her she suffered from a severe panic attack, looking at her records she has Tachycardia-"

" Tachycardia? What is that? "

" Tachycardia is when the heart has over 100 beats per minute, now it's not completely a bad thing but in this case it was induced by stress. I see here that  she was prescribed medication to control it a bit more but hasn't picked it up. She needs to make sure to take her medication regularly and she should be fine"

" Thanks doctor"

" Shes also required to attend therapy of some sort, she has quite a history of panic attacks and being lucky"

" Being lucky ? What do you mean?"

"Well her panic attacks are severe and panic attacks can often lead to a much higher risk of having a heart attack or possible heart disease which can be fatal, that's why she was prescribed medication, she's fine now but if she doesn't take her medication she might not be so lucky as she has been"  The doctor says concerning and leaves

There I was, watching her sleep her life away. Why'd she never tell me this ? How long has she been having panic attacks ? This is all my fault. I should've stayed away. I never knew she got that stressed, I would've done something, convinced her to take her meds, something. I got up from sitting and laid next to her in the hospital bed and held her.

" I know you're asleep but I still have to tell you, I've loved you since the day I laid eyes on you deya, I would do anything in the world for you and I knew the second we became friends it gave me every reason to show that. I don't think you know that you're the reason my heart beats, no pun intended, my bad. I' could never look you in the eyes and tell you that I'm a succubous. That's why you always saw me with someone new. I have this strong desire for sexual activity that I can't control. I know that, the kind of person I am you could never be with so for the longest it felt like the right thing was to hide it and keep my distance. I guess we were both hiding somethings." I kissed her forehead and just laid there with her.

She slept the rest of the day at the hospital, I'd woken up.

" Deya I'm going to your crib to pick you up a change of clothes and some food, I know you not eating this nasty ass hospital when you wake up so I got you, I'll be back" I kissed her forehead and just as I was about to leave I see her phone being blown up

This nigga.. would I be fucked up if I blocked his number from her phone ? Who says she wants to even be with me after this ? What if she really likes him ? As much as I want to block this nigga I can't. It's her choice to decide what she wants to do about him and me. I put her phone down and left.

Adeya's P.O.V :

I heard the door close and panicked. Where's Ezerial ? I saw my phone and grabbed it quickly to call her. She answered.

" Ez where are you ?!"

" Give me a second I'm coming back" Ezerial says

She hangs up, 5 mins later Ezerial rushed in the room.

Ezerial rushes towards me and brushes my hair out my face with her cold hands, now holding my face " You scared me sounding like that over the phone, Deya you need to calm down okay? Relax for me please"

" okay" I slide back down on the bed

" how are you feeling?"

" I have a headache but it's easing up" I say

" ok we'll I was about to head to your place to get you some clothes and pick up some food so I'll be back in about 20-25 minutes okay? Just rest "

" okay" I nod as I let her go

She's a succubous? Is she being serious? Id this my actual life right now? A sex demon ?! You've got to be kidding me. Wait what ?
