It was the day of the results all four parties made their way to the podium. Wilbur stepping up to the mic to begin "Thank you for coming here today, to watch a historic moment, the passing over of the presidency for the first election of L'manberg. I have with me the election results of the four parties. SWAG2020, POG2020, COCONUT2020 AND SCHLATT2020. Without further ado, I want to go through the election results. With 9% of the vote in fourth place, is coconut2020. With 16% of the vote, coming in third place is SCHLATT2020. In second place, with 30% of the popular vote is lead by the party leader Quakity"
"yeah we did it!" Tommy shouted excitedly.
"by 45% is pog2020" Wilbur announced. People in the crowd cheered.
"so we win?" Tommy asked looking at Wilbur with a big smile.
" now- Tommy, now, listen listen, Tommy listen please stop celebrating" Wilbur said.
"we did it Wilbur" Tommy celebrated.
"Tommy calm down" Wilbur said turning his attention back to the microphone and the crowd before him. "Two nights ago on the night of the election. After the announcement of Schlatt2020 and coconut2020, Quakity made a deal with the leader of schlatt2020. Mr Jshlatt. Quakity said that no matter what happens Quakity would pool SWAG2020 votes on with Schlatt 2020 votes. Pog 2020 got 45% of the popular vote, meaning the coalition government of Schlatt and SWAG 2020 got 46% of the vote. Meaning that tonight, ladies and gentlemen on tuesday the 22nd of September 2020 Schlatt 2020 has been inaugurated. By one percent of the vote. Mr Schlatt I want to say it was an honour competing against you but I-" Wilbur paused for a moment, "Schlatt please step up for he podium and deliver your inauguration speech" Wilbur said solemnly before leaving the podium and making his way to the crowd.
"are you sure Wilbur? By one percent?" Tommy asked not moving from where he was. Schlatt walked up to him,
"Get off my podium" he said with a grin
"Get off Tommy, this isn't yours anymore" Quakity said with laughter in his voice as he shoved the younger boy.
"Tommy we're citizens tonight listen to Schlatt" Wilbur said from the crowd. Tommy went down to the crowd and joined Wilbur.
"well... that was pretty easy" Schlatt said into the mic.
"Too easy, too easy!" Quakity backed him up.
"Before anything else, I want to introduce you all to the new vice president, VC why don't you come up here?" He motioned behind him. The endergirl stepped onto the podium.
"Mr president" she said with a small nod. She stood beside him and looked out into the crowd, a mostly blank look on her face, her eyes not meeting a single gaze of the citizens below.
"Thank you Kiara, welcome to the cabinet" he said patting her on the shoulder,
"You know what I said the day I was allowed back in the SMP, the day I said I was running for the election, that I won by the way. I said things are gonna change. I looked every citizen of L'manberg in the eyes and I said, you listen to me, this place will be a lot different tomorrow. Let's start making it happen. My first decree as the presedent of L'manberg the emperor! Of this great country" Schlatt spoke as Kiara stood one side of him and Quakity on the other amping him up.
"Yessir" Quakity added
"Is to revoke! the citizenship of Wilbur Soot and Tommy Innit" Schlatt declared. Kiara's blank gaze faltered for a moment.
My head snapped towards Schlatt, "No, no yo-" Schlatt glared at her,
A purple haze returned to her vision, she couldn't do anything as she watched as Wilbur and Tommy were chased out of L'manberg.
I took a step forward before my arm was grabbed I looked over at Schlatt,
"Don't try anything" he said quietly as he covered the mic with his other hand.
"Get em outta here!" Quakity shouted.
"Let go of me" I said through my teeth.
"Quakity, I don't think she looks well, why don't you take her inside" Schlatt said.
"Yes sir" Quakity said and pulled me inside the Whitehouse.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked as we got inside.
"He's president, gotta listen to him" he replied.
"But Wilbur and Tommy, L'manberg wouldn't be here if it wernt for them" Quakity just shrugged leading me over to a spot with a hole and a small island of sorts in the middle. He pushed me onto it before flicking a switch.
"Quakity wh-" I was cut off as I watched as water flowed down, surrounding me. "Don't do this please" I begged as he left.
"It was so easy. Until further notice, Wilbur Soot and Tommy Innit are merely a memory of L'manberg" I could hear the commotion from in here. "A relic of the past. A reminder, of the darkest era this country has ever seen. And I guarantee you all dear citizens. Tonight that changes. We're entering a new period of L'manberg. A period of prosperity, of strength of unity" Schlatt continued.
"yessir"
"Give it up for no more Wilbur Soot and Tommy Innit I was getting tired of them anyways. Who wants lower taxes? Yeah? How does that sound?Tubbo, Tubbo where's Tubbo?" Schlatt spoke into the mic.
"hes scared, he's scared" Quakity laughed.
"get up here on my podium. Come on Tubbo youre the secretary of state" Schlatt continued
"Wait, what am I secretary-" Tubbo asked.
"yeah I think I think that's. I think he's always been that" Schlatt said.
"I didn't know I got to keep that" Tubbo added.
"I can't fire you, you're Tubbo. What am I gonna fire Tubbo? Tubbo, get up here now." A chuckle was in Schlatt's voice.
"I don't think he wants the job" Quakity said with a laugh.
"I do want the job I'm on my way, I'm on my way" Tubbo said.
"Ah Tubbo good to see you, get up here. Tubbo, get up here. Take my spot at the podium. I love this guy. Ohh, my very own Tubbo. Tubbo, as my Secretary of State, as my right hand man of L’manburg, I need you to do something for me, Tubbo" Schlatt said
"yeah, ok ok" Tubbo said
"I need you to do something for me"
"what Mr president?"
"I need you to find Tommy. And I need you to show him the door" I could hear the grin in Schlatt's voice. I heard footsteps and looked over to see nothing, then I heard a flick of a lever and the water stopped.
"Are you ok?" Keishas voice came from the void.
"Yeah, I-I think" I said stepping out of the water prison, a hiss leaving my lips as a stray drop of water fell on my arm.
"Good" she said before I felt pain in my arm, she punched me.
"What was that for?" I asked rubbing my arm.
"For being a dumbass and joining him" she said.
"I didn't join him, at least by choice" I said.
"What? You were up there with him, you're his vice president" Keisha replied.
"I didn't choose to be, the last thing I remember was talking to Schlatt yesterday, then I was up there" I said rubbing my head, "There's a whole chunk missing"
"Thought you looked strange when you were up there" she said.
"What's going on out there?" I asked walking over towards the window.
"They're tearing down the walls" she voice came from behind me. "I'm trying to lay low a bit"
"I don't blame you" I said.
