I must have fallen asleep Because I wake up to a knock at my door. "Are you awake" Meliodas asks. He opens the door before I even answer. "Do you have no understanding of personal space what is wrong with you?" I reach over and throw the closest object at him. A pillow it didn't really do anything I should have chosen a more solid object. The pillow falls into his arms. He gently tosses it onto the bed. "This is the tavern uniform please try it on and tell me if it doesn't fit." He says handing me the clothes. I take the clothes and I unfold them a pink shirt one sock mismatched shoes and a almost ribbon short skirt. I look over at Meliodas "Really" I say dryly. "Yes, now get changed" he says stepping further into my room. I grab him by the shirt and shove him out the door locking it behind him before getting changed. What is wrong with him? The outfit looked uncoordinated his sense of style is definitely not a common style. I get a blue shoe, a pink shoe, one dark blue thigh high sock, a dark blue skirt that wasn't a skirt it just barley hid my underwear, the shirt was a pink crop top that had a frill on the bottom the shirt was tight around my chest. This I assume was done on purpose to push out my chest. There was a dark blue cloth that was tied under the collar of the shirt. I felt like I was wearing a swim suit. Despite how uncomfortable I felt with the amount of skin showing I went downstairs to show Meliodas because he was after all my employer. I walk down the stairs my hands were unconsciously covering the space were my butt was exposed do to the short skirt. "M-meliodas do I really have to wear this? I would like to go back to wearing what I was yesterday" I ask stuttering a little with how self-conscious I felt wearing this outfit. "Like I said earlier this morning (y/n) it's the taverns uniform if you work here you have to wear it." The face he makes is so cute No no (y/n) you can't think like that he's a pervert "Fine I'll wear it if I have to but could we please make the skirt a tad bit longer." I give him and incent questioning look. "Hmm I guess we could allow some adjustments but for now your stuck with that outfit." He says with a slow debating tone as if it's the most difficult decision. "Thank you" I sigh relieved despite the fact that I don't think was going consider my idea. Even adding only and inch to the skirt would make it more comfortable. Me and Meliodas step outside I'm absolutely aw struck. We were in a completely different location from the previous night. "How did we get here?" I ask I couldn't make a guess for the life of me. "Hawks mom walked us all the way here. Oh I guess you don't really know hawks he's the pink pig the taverns mascot." "Wow his mother must be huge" Meliodas nods his head. We decided that it was time to get to work so we walk into town. We spot a huge crowd men, women, young and old had gathered around a sword. It looks like the sword of a holy knight. Why were all these town folk gathered around it? Suddenly a small kid walks out of the crowd. "If any of my friends the seven deadly sins were here they could pull the sword out and we would never had to have had this problem in the first place" The boy says confidently. Only shortly after the boy finished his statement the villagers begin pelting him with rocks. They yell profanities and call him names. Meliodas grabs the boy and pulls him to the tavern getting pelted by rocks as well. I follow Meliodas back to the tavern by the time I walk through the door Meliodas was already questioning the boy. The boy told us that he wasn't really friends with any of the seven deadly sins. I had already know this. When people lie they usually have a slightly different tone when they talk. I have sensitive ears and I'm able to detect these subtle changes. We walk back down to the village when we get down to the village one of the older townsfolk walks over to us and begins to explain that the boy hadn't had a family. He then goes on speaking to the whole village about the boy. The boy had pulled some mean pranks from time to time and this time he had put a bug In a holy knights drink. The man continues to say that the boy was only doing what the townspeople had all been thinking but had been to scared to enact. The village then begins to apologize to the boy. Then I hear loud cackles coming from two soldiers who were sitting on what looked to be a well. "Wow what a lovely sob story but remember if you can't pull out the sword by tomorrow the debt will increase by 5x the current amount" The soldiers taunt. The towns people became fired up and attached a rope to the handle of the sword. Everyone in the town begins to pull at the rope but then the rope suddenly snaps. The soldiers begin laughing their asses off. I sigh taking a step forward the soldiers were really getting on my nerves. Before I had actually made a decision Meliodas steps in front of the sword. He reaches down and slides the sword right out of the ground with ease. Meliodas then takes the sword and thrusts it into the laps of the soldiers that had now gone silent. The boy then runs up to Meliodas and begins asking a lot of questions. I know he may be a pervert but he still has a kind heart. My heart softens to see what he did for the townsfolk. I was down bad.

(No hahaha I can't do it "Down bad" lol 😆)

That evening the tavern was full of laughter and smiles. Everyone was grateful that the sword has been removed and the water had began to flow. This allowed them to get back into business making and selling ale. I cook meals as people order them glad to see people enjoyed my cooking. I then hear the little boy fighting with his mother. "No no please don't send me to the forest of white dreams not even holy nights dare travel there I promise I'll be good from now on." Hmm that sounds like it could be an interesting place. I spot Meliodas step out of the tavern and I follow after him. As soon as I make it through the door I feel a intense magic power approaching fast I nearly jump out of my skin. How had I not sensed it. Looking up I spot the source of this new magic presence. A spear was hurtling towards us a trail of sparks laid behind it meaning the spear was most likely riddled with an electrical energy. Meliodas catches the spear but he isn't able to stop it right away and it drags him into the town. I hear a loud crashing sound and right as I'm about to go and check on Meliodas the spear comes soaring past and Meliodas approaches from the hill he look uninjured not a scratch was visible on him however the sleeve of the arm he used to catch the spear was all burnt up and destroyed. "We need to move again they know where we are" Meliodas says seriously. "Umm well I hear someone say something about the forest of white fog? They said that most holy knights won't even travel there." "Well then that doesn't sound like the worst place to set up camp." I nod at his statement. I then run over to him and grab his hand very gentle stretching his arm out to look at it. Even if he doesn't have any obvious injury's doesn't mean he doesn't have any injury's at all. After observing his arm for a minute and finding no evidence of injury I let go of his arm. Looking up I meet is a gaze he looks almost startled at my actions. "What?" I ask. He smiles "you care" I chuckle "a little." I smile back at him. I see a light blush appear on the outer edge of his cheeks if I wasn't so close to him I wouldn't have noticed. I didn't even know he could. The blush was cute and I could feel my heart begin to melt. I head back into the tavern can't have your top chef on break when your tavern is this full.
