Suddenly her eyes went to side table near to the bed where her father was sleeping.. and she saw her phone. She gathered all yeh courage she had and went to the table and picked up her phone.
She tip toed her way back and was about to get out of the room when her mom woke up and she freezed. She looked at her mother. Her mother looked at her sleeping husband and slowly got down the bed, snatched the phone from her hand and held Raahi's hand and pulled her out of the room. She pulled Raahi to her room and took the phone away from her and said-" Good going Raahi... now you have come down to this. Very good."
Tears fell Raahi eyes as she folded her hands infront of her mother and pleaded in a heartbreaking tone-" Please Mom. I want to talk to Neevan. Just... Just one time mom. Please please understand."
Urmil felt helpless at Raahi state and said-" Raahi...Raahi... Neevan is not the right person for you."
Raahi immediately siad-" maa...what if he is. He was the one to charge over that Abhishek. What is he has something to tell me. What...what."
She stopped as her words turned to sobs. Urmil pulled her in a hug as her daughter has voiced the same thoughts that has been running in her mind. She herself was a dilemma as her heart also somewhere defended Nevaan but still she was afraid for Raahi, what if Neevan actually was wrong. Raahi calling her now would give him another chance to play with her mind and feelings.
"Mom please mom. Please let me talk. I promise I will confide in you everything. I won't hide a single thing from you. Mom please mom." She sobbed and spoke as she was still embraced by Urmil.
Urmil distanced herself and wiped Raahi tears and said-" See Raahi... Only God knows whether Nevaan is right or not. But if God forbid he is wrong, yeh baat yaad rakhna, as parents we will make sure, woh tere aas pass bhi na aa sake. Don't underestimate us in any case. Cause I will not allow my daughter to be so madly blind in love that she embraces the wrong and regrets all her life. Yeh to hoga nai Raahi."
"But what if incase he is right mom. Please please,let me just speak to him once. I promise I will tell you everything. please...please mom." Raahi begged.
Urmil looked at Raahi and took a deep breath. He sensed the storm that was going come her way via Amit but she could not stop herself as she handed the phone to Raahi and left the room as shut the door.
For a Raahi did not believe that her mother had actually given her the phone. She kept staring at it and as senses came back she finally dailed the name that had a way deep down her heart 'NEVAAN'

Nevaan looked at time, it was 4 20, time for him to switch off his mobile and head toward the last formalities before flying the place to Dubai. He wanted to try one last time and liked for the name that had a way deep down his heart ' RAAHI'. He was about to press the name when the mobile jumped alive with the name. For a second he could not belief as what flashed in his mobile ' RAAHI CALLING'. He stood instinctively and picked up the call and said -" Hello"
No reply came but he she was there as the sob that heard sliced his heart into pieces and he was about to say something when there was a knock at his office cabin and an assistant came and informed it was time.
Nevaan gestured for two minutes and when the assistant went away. He closed his eyes and said-" Raahi... I love you.... I missed you my baby."
And he heard Raahi break down. He took a deep breath and said-" I might be wrong but somewhere deep down my heart say that it's my love that had compelled you to call me and this is a promise from your Nevaan that he will not let you down. I have a flight to take right now and i cannot talk for long but this flight I takiy just for you Raahi.... Cause I want to see you smiling back. There was is story as why I was quiet that day and I need to make your parents and you understand with proofs that Nevaan is not wrong. I have to go today as I need to get the proofs. And i promise you Raahi... Trust me one last time... Tomorrow you would be in arms and proud of me. You are my lifeline Raahi, my heart does not know how to beat without you."
