HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY ❤️

Twenty four year old Raahi looked at herself in the mirror and examined herself. The vermilion coloured salwar suit was fitting her perfectly, accentuating her figure. The turquoise coloured banarasi print duppatta was a beautiful contrast to the attire. She contemplated whether to keep her waist long hair open or tie them in plaits. She opted for open hair as they made her look beautiful. The thin line of eyeliner made her eyes attractive and the dark pink color lipstick made her fair skin glow more. She smiled at the result. She knew she did not have the slim and so called perfect figure but she was curvaceous and most importantly healthy and have never lacked male attention.
She wore a watch on her right hand and left the other hand bare. She then slipped in the block heels sandals, that increased her 5'2 height by another two inches.
"Raahi, are you ready" she heard her mom calling out from the living room.
"Yes Mom" she said, as she twisted and turned herself to check herself from all angles.
Her grand mother entered her room and looked at her and said-" Raahi...bahut Sundar lag rahi ho beta, lekin Zara sar dhak le. Ladke wale aa rahe, aise nai jaate ladke walo ke saamne"
Raahi made a face and was about to answer when her father entered and spoke-" Nai maa.... Ab woh zamana nai hai. Sar dhakna aapke zamane Mei acha lagta tha. Ab nai"
Her grandmother looked at her son a little crossed and said-" Teri lugai to aaj tak sar dhake hai mere saamne"
Raahi's dad looked at his mother and said-"maa.... Urmil ko daya aati aap pe... Ki maa or kitne din ki mehmaan hai. Bhagwan ka bulava aane hi Wala. Kya unhe dukhi karu".
"Ha...mere Marne ka hi intezaar Kar rahe tum sab, ki kab yeh budiya ka patta cut ho" Saying so she angrily started to go away.
When she heard her son and grand daughter laugh. She felt the arms of her son on his shoulder as he spoke-" Arre maa, mazak Kar Raha tha. Naraaz Kyu ho rahi".
"Daaadiii... We love you so much. Why are you getting angry" Raahi spoke.
Her grandmom smiled and said-"Thik hai thik hai. And listen Raahi, don't talk too much infront of them. Don't look into their eyes and talk. And whenever it's very necessary to talk, only then speak and that too softly".
Raahi looked sadly at her dad, who winked at her and then looked at his mom and said-" Haa maa.... Ekdum aisa hi karegi".
Her grandmother smiled and went out of the room
He then pulled her daughter close to him by her shoulder and said-" BE AS YOU ARE. NO NEED TO PRETEND. Whatever you want to ask, ask without any hesitation. Don't shy away. You have to spend your whole life with him.
Raahi smiled warmly at his dad and said-" You are the best dad. I love u so much"
Her Dad looked at her and said-" I wish I could say the same for you"
Raahi looked at him with shrewd expression and spoke-" You mean I am not the best daughter. What dad. I always knew u loved Reyaan more."
" Reyaan kaha se aaya beech Mei. He came into our life, three years after you came" he said.
"Then why I am not the best" she said crossly.
"Arrange marriage....like really Raahi. Amit Agarwal ki beti...and arrange Marriage" he said.
Raahi laughed and said-" Now what can I do. I did not find anyone worth falling in love. Every one does not have a thrilling life like you. You ran away with Mom in the eighties. Goodness you had guts dad".
