The wind is weaker than before....| idk

I was waiting at Guyun Stone Forest, as usual, playing my flute and get surprise hugs from behind.

"Hello, i heard you call me"

"Hehe~, Hi, how are you?"

"I'm good thanks for asking"

"Ehe~"

"What about you?"

"I'm good, thanks Kazuha"

"Mm"

"Haha, where's Xiao by the way?"

"Up there"

I looked up, there he was, at the top of a peek

"There you are!"

Xiao then jumped down from the peek next to me and Kazuha.

"I have something to say"

"What is it Barbatos?"

"Yea what is it?"

"I will be staying at Mondstadt for the next few years, the city is in need of protection, and as their archon i must take position"

"Understood"

"Mhm! We'll wait even if it means decades!"

"Haha, you're gonna have to ask Xiao to turn you into an immortal almost like how he did to Qiq-"

Xiao cut me off with a kiss, his face was slightly red.

"N-Not another word..."

"Alright, Alright"

"Hey! I want a kiss too!"

"Later, Kazuha"

Next morning....

"Well, Kazuha and Xiao, it's time i take my leave."

"Farewell, Ven"

"Take care"

I gave both of them a hug before parting

I would always send the wind out to let them know that i'm okay.

KAZUHA'S POV 

It has been 2 years since i've last saw Venti, me and Xiao would always meet at Guyun if i had the time, Venti would always send wind to me and Xiao to let us know he's alright.

But..

 it weakened as weeks go by...

Few days later...

"Kazuha! We're staying for a couple of days, go wander off if you want but remember to come back!"

"Got it Beidou"

The ship then pulled up at the shore of Guyun, i then stood up and lept, landing on the shore, waving 'goodbye' to Beidou as she waved back.

Couple hours passed and it was now evening, i heard what seemed to be Ruin machines, i'm guessing it's a ruin guard.

I walked over to where the sound was coming from and i found Xiao.

Xiao then turned to me, and smiled.

"Kazuha, what are you doing here?"

"Just wandering around"

"I see"

"...."

"..."

We were both silent for a few minutes, until i broke it.

"Hey"

"Hm?"

"Have you noticed that Venti's wind has been weak lately?..."

"...actually....i have..."

"....."

"Well i have until tomorrow, would you like to go visit him?"

"Sure.."

I then took Xiao's hand and then we both headed towards Mondstadt, this wasn't the first time we've been to the Anemo archon's city. 

23 minutes later...

It was so windy, what was happening?! 

"Ahh!"

"What is this storm?!"

We made our way into the storm to find the city.

After we found the city, we got in, me and Xiao were so confused about what was happening outside.

"Such a violent storm...."

".mhm..."

"Okay Xiao, you stay here"

"Okay..."

I started making my way to Acting grand master Jean's office to ask about why this was happening.

I knocked at the door three times.

"Come in"

"Jean, what is happening outside?"

Jean's eyes widened, she then looked away from me.

"Is it something bad?..."

"Do you want to know?"

I nodded

"Barbatos's is dead..."

I froze.

Venti? Dead? No way....!..

"He's not....Right?...?.."

"...."

"No..."

"Where is he now?.."

"Cathedral"

I ran towards the door, heading outside.

I barged in, i then saw him.

3 years later...

XIAO'S POV

"Kazuha, come on, let's go"

"I don't want to yet..."

"I don't want to either but we have to"

"I'll go later"

"*sigh* alright then..."

"Mm..."

It's been 3 years and Kazuha is still not over Venti's death, the once peaceful land land of Mondstadt, was engulfed by dangerous and violent storms, the wind that barbatos would send to me and Kazuha was now gone, for good.

The place where Venti was buried was Windrise.

"Hey Venti, i got some Cecilias for you"

I gently placed the Cecilias, beneath the grave, i then saw Kazuha, beside me.

My eyes soon became watery.

Just as i was about to cry i felt someone's arms, hugging me?

"I'm here Xiao." 

Kazuha looked like he has seen a ghost.

"What?"

"Behind you"

I turned around,  to see Venti.

"Ehe~"

"Venti?"

"Ven?"

"Hehe~ i'm here, i'll never leave you both"

Before we knew it, the violent storms had come to an end, and wind was everywhere.

Venti then kissed us both 'goodbye' before vanishing away, his last words were...

"I'll always be here, on the wind, i'll come if you need me, take care for now." 

"I love you"

(Xiao and Kazuha  means the world to Venti, like how Oven means the world to me)
