" Manong, cheese nga po sa cone " sabi ko kay Manong. Nagscoop naman sya ng ice cream at ako naman ay hinahanda yung pambayad ko. Wala pala akong coins at 50 lang yung barya ko dito.
Bigla namang may batang kumalabit sa tagiliran ko. I looked at him and mukhang gusto nya din ng ice cream.
" Do you want Ice cream? " I asked. Tumango naman sya kaya kinuha ko na yung ice cream ko at binigay sakanya. Nagbayad na din ako tsaka umalis yung nagtitinda ng ice cream.
" Ahm.. Baby boy? Where's your mom? " Tanong ko sakanya. Dinilaan nya muna yung ice cream nya before sumagot.
" I'm with my uncle, but I don't know where he is eh " He said at patuloy na dinilaan yung ice cream nya.
Pinantayan ko naman sya at tinignan.
" Let's find him? " I asked he just nodded. Naglakad lakad kami at tumitingin tingin din sa mga taong nagdadaan.
Nalibot na ata namin 'tong buong park pero hindi talaga namin mahanap yung Tito nya.
Pumunta nalang kami sa isang sulok at umupo sya sa swing..

Umupo sya dun habang ako naman ay nasa tabi lang pinapanood sya. Pinanood din namin ang paglubog ng araw at kinuhaan ko naman ito ng litrato.
" Ahm.. baby boy? Do you know your address ba? Baka hinahanap kana ng family mo? Hatid nalang kita " I said to him. Tumingin naman sya sakin nang nakakunot ang noo.
" I- I don't understand you.. " He said. Oh yeah, he doesn't understand Tagalog.
" Oh yeah, Hahaha! I said, if you know your address? Your family might be looking for you so I'm just gonna drop you home " I translated it for him. He smiled.
" Yes miss :) " He said.
" Don't call me Miss, baby. Call me Ate, okay? " I said. He nodded.
" Opo Ate " He said and smiled.
" You know how to speak Tagalog? " I asked.
" Opo.. kaso k- kenti lang po " He said stuttering. Lol! So cute!
