Chapter 6: Double Date!

Author Notice: Agghhh my schedule is so messed up. I have so many things I want to do right now, but I can't manage my time properly...sorry!

Shu POV

I rushed back to Valt's, shocked by what I just witnessed.

When I reached, I told Valt about what happened...hopefully Free and Lui are okay with that.

'We should go on a double date, then!' Valt suggested. No. That was a terrible idea! It would be so awkward and weird and I could keep going if I wanted to!

'Umm, are you sure Valt- eheh,' I rechecked with him, making sure he wasn't going crazy or anything.

'Yep! It can be this weekend or even this Friday after class!' He replied. Oh, no, no, no. But, Valt was my Valty, and in the end, I'd have to put up with him. 'Okay, I'll call them then,' I said, going to get the phone. I still had hope that they would decline the offer.

'Hello?' A familiar voice was heard over the call. 'Hi, this is Shu,' I muttered. 'Who's that?' I could hear someone say, sounded like Free. 'It's just that blind Kurenai.' Lui responded. Gosh, I hated him. 'What does he want?' I heard Free ask. 'I don't know, let me ask,' Again, Lui replied. 'What do you want?' He said over the call. 'Umm, Valt is suggesting a double date this coming Friday after school, and uhh, you get it,' I awkwardly ended my speech. It was silent for a few moments, Lui probably covered his mic. 'Okay, eh- Where exactly? Also, you realise this is stupid, right?' Lui questioned, I could hear that he was trying to hold in his laugh.

I didn't actually think about that. I covered my mic and asked Valt, who was just across the room. 'How about we stay at a hotel?!' He excitedly declared. I removed my hand that was covering the mic. 'Valt says we stay at a hotel at ### ######,' I answer Lui's question.

'Okay, we'll see you there, I guess.' Lui says, hanging up right after.

Time Skip: 3 days

It's Thursday now, and Valt's been a lot to handle lately. The double date is all he is talking about, and believe me, I'm not interested or even one bit excited for it at all.

I wonder how Free and Lui make it work, though. I really didn't think about them being together, I feel like they just don't match. They're personalities just don't compliment each other, in my opinion. They are so harsh yet, I guess they're a sweet couple as well.

The next day

Free POV

I wake up, still feeling sleepy. It's already Friday, this week has gone by fast. I'm getting ready for school, excited to see Lui after. Still, I wished it was just the two of us instead of this useless double date.

Alright, I'm heading to school now.

After School

I meet up with Lui and greet him with a tight hug and a soft kiss on the lips. We then wait for Shu and Valt to show up.

After about 10 minutes we finally see them from a distance. Wow. They really look like a couple.

They were holding hands, fingers intertwined with each other. And they looked so happy together.

Well, I guess the double date has officially started.

Third PER

After the four checked in, they made their way to their rooms. Of course, Shalt was sharing a room and Frui was sharing one too.

With Shalt

'Shuuu!! Aren't you excited!!!' Valt happily asks his lover. 'Yes..um, I sure am-!' Shu says, faking it. 'Is something wrong?' Valt asks, noticing how stressed the albino looks. 'Yes, I'm fine, Valt, there's no need to worry,' He replies.

'Lui Shirosagi please report to the main office.' Shu and Valt heard the tannoy sound outside the room. What could have happened?

With Lui

'Sir, we've noticed that you keep violating our protocols here in the hotel. I hope you realise your wrongdoings because we do not tolerate this kind of behavior here in our hotel.' The manager explained.

'Then you have some terrible system. Your protocols are practically useless, and besides, you can't tell me what to do,' Lui responds.

'I'm sorry sir, but one more mistake and you're out of here for good.'

'Tch. Like I care.'
