Love has no time line

BAMA

"We are safe" said the boy. Finally Anannya thought of asking the boy's name. "Thank you for saving me, I owe you one. And what's your name?" she asked with a soft tone. "I am Bama" he replied.
With a scurried voice Annanya said "I gotta hurry back home", but she couldn't find the machine. "Oh shit! I guess I dropped it somewhere while running" she hurriedly ran back and started to look for it every nook and cranny, but she couldn't find it.
Meanwhile the two soldiers saw something strange dropped in the ground and picked it up. They had never seen something like that before and was not sure what it was. Since they were drunk, they just tossed the machine back to the ground.

Anannya and Bama came back to the village and started finding for the machine. "Found it" said Bama. "Oh thank god", Anannya was relieved. But a piece of the machine was broken. "Oh no, how am I supposed go back now?" Anannya almost got teary. "Here's the other piece" Bama found a piece that was broken. His eyesight was sharp even in the dark.

He was waiting for her to come with him but she didn't move because she was trying to fix the machine before her father comes back home. "What is that thing?" he asked out of curiosity. "NOTHING ITS JUST A MASTERPIECE MADE BY ME" , Anannya didn't tell Bama about the time machine because she knew he wouldn't understand even if she explained.
"Give it to me" said Bama. He took a good look of it. He took off his black chain that he was wearing and knotted the time machine with it, "hang it around your neck" he gave it to her with a grin. She will not lose it again Bama thought. But one part was missing from the machine, the start button . Anannya heard the soldiers coming by. Out of instinct they quickly hid. "We shall give this to the village head, he would give us some reward. "Bama heard the soldiers . He noticed how scared Anannya was . Anannya couldn't afford to lose it or else she would be stuck in this era forever.

Bama made a quick move on the soldiers, but this time he wasn't lucky . They caught him and punched him. He fell in the ground and tried to dodge the other punch, he saw Anannya grabbing a stick behind the soldiers. She hit hard to the back of the head and the soldier fainted. Bama had already grabbed the starting key of the time machine, "quick let's go!! " he grabbed Anannya's hand, but she didn't move an inch.

She should not go to the village. If she did, she will become a part of the history. Bama left Anannya to do what she wanted. He was pissed off and murmured "I helped her and this is how she treats me". He started kicking everything around him. Anannya tried and assembled the machine. She was able to fix and go home on time. Her father came home 5 minutes after her arrival. She made some fried rice and grilled fish for dinner.

Anannya went to bed early that night, but she couldn't fall asleep. She kept thinking of Bama, she sensed he might be in danger. At midnight she decided to go back, "I just wanna check if he is alright and be back before dusk". She hid in the forest and started to shut her eyes as she was sleepy. Suddenly she heard a noise. It was Bama, four soldiers were dragging him with his mouth tied with a cloth. Anannya didn't know what to do, she was terrified, but she had to do something. She started following them. At one point they released him. They were about to beat him up. "We will kill you today, boy. You have taken a precious thing from us" said the soldiers.
"Oh shut up you don't even know what it is" Anannya said with an angry tone. They all turned behind at once. "Run!!" screamed Anannya, they both ran in opposite directions. The soldiers were confused.
