A/N: Nothing bad, just wholesome bonding.
-------------------------
The last thing Garcello remembered was him having a send-off song with Boyfriend. He remembered their teared-up faces when he was fading away, and the sad look in their eyes. He hoped they would move on, they can't waste their time worrying about a poor man like him.
Now he is in the afterlife, and there was only one thing in his mind: McDonalds.
He didn't know much about the afterlife, but he had hoped there would be at least Mcdonalds. I mean, come on! McDonalds was food sent from heaven!
After wandering around clueless for a while, and after asking a random ghost where McDonalds was, he finally reached his destination.
Pushing open the door, he immediately went to the front counter cashier.
"Hello sir what do you want to order?" The lady asked.
"Ah, yeah, I'll take the Cheese Burger and some nuggets."
"What drinks would you like sir?"
"Some soda'll do." And with that he walked to a nearby table and took a seat.
He stared out the window as his food was being prepared. Garcello suddenly felt really lonely. Was this how the afterlife was gonna be? Empty? Sad? He hadn't met a single soul he knew from the mortal world since he came.
But as he thought those thoughts, the doors burst open, revealing a familiar raven-haired red-eyed girl hustling to the counter.
"Two cheeseburgers please," the lady asked briskly, before turning her head side to side, seeming to look for something.
She began skipping toward the shell-shocked Garcello, a grin on her face.
"Hey mister, might if I borrow this chair a bit?" The ravenette asked, gesturing to the seat next to him.
"Annie?" Garcello asked, weakfully. Hopefully.
"Huh? How do you.." The girl trailed off just as her visible eye locked with Garcello's.
"Oh my God!! Garcy??! Is that you??!!"
The said man chuckled lightly, despite the shocking revelation just now. "The one and only."
In a flash the girl had taken a seat next to him.
"I can't believe you're here!! The first thing I did since going here was trying to find you. I just needed a short food break. Who would have known!"
Garcello raised an eyebrow. "How did you get here anyways?"
Annie scratched the back of her head sheepishly. "Uh..eh...I might have drank some lamp juice as a dare..." "What the hell Annie??!! I told you not to drink those lava lamps!! Remember the last time you did it? You were stuck in the hospital for 3 days. 3, days, Annie!!"
"Alright, alright, sorry!"
Soon their food came, and they dug in. They laughed about their past memories and talked. And there was one thing Garcello was thinking: the afterlife won't ever be gloomy or sad if Annie was there.
