this book is a work of fiction, full of poetry. working on poems is something i'm a novice at, so i apologise if my poems are too dull or even bland. i hope you like it, regardless.
this is for all those hopeless romantics, those who feel that their crushes wouldn't notice them. i hope this book of poems will let you be hooked to it and relate to the things the character is feeling. this book will make you realise that in your own world of hopelessness, you are not alone and this feeling would only be ephemeral because one day, someday, he/she will notice you.

u n s a i d were his feelings. walls around him, not even by a machete be broken. uncertainty descends on me, making me think I was nothing but forgotten.
I was just a wayward leaf,
falling straight to the ground,
pulled by the power of gravity,
flailing, as winds pushed me over.
waiting and waiting,
just to fall down.
you'd come unnoticed,
oblivious to the fallen leaf,
oblivious to my aching heart,
oblivious to the pulse right beside your foot.
you crush me under your foot,
the sound of a pulverised glass bottle,
loud enough to be heard, not enough to steal your attention.
and i just laid, rumpled because of you,
broken and shattered because of you.
but you never seemed to notice me,
for i was just a brittle leaf,
just under your radar,
but never under your attention.
