"Na na?" the two were still at the cafe when Jaemin heard his name looking behind him to see Jeno and Mark. Jaemin froze
"Would you like to join us?" Jisung asked the older two
Jaemin slid over making room as he kept his gaze outside the window
"Something on your mind Jaemin" hearing his name he looked across the table at Mark
"It's nothing, how has your day been for the two of you?" he asked them also noticing the way Jeno was looking at him.
"It has been fast and easy to say the least" Jeno said as he looked at Jaemin
Mark and Jisung decided to a little dip without the two noticing. as they conversed
"So why did you lie to Mark earlier about nothing being wrong?" Jeno questioned the younger
Jaemin couldn't believe that the older could read him so easily. He didn't know whether he should exactly tell his fiancé what was on his mind right now.
"I uh you see; do you remember my friend Renjun that I told you about?" he asked feeling extremely nervous. He was really about to do this
"Of course, I do is it something he did" the older questioned looking at him with sincerity
"No, uh the thing is I uh have feelings for Renjun, but he doesn't feel the same way" the younger male said as the older looked at him
"I get it no harm no foul right?" Jeno asked
"Except for the other night when you walked me back to campus, I thought that uhm" Jaemin felt nervous and stupid for admitting this especially to the man he is about to marry
"You thought what Jaemin?" Jeno was curious, but was he upset? No he had a hunch that the younger was crushing on someone, but never assumed that it'd someone that he had been friends with for so long.
"I thought that this, us cou-could uhm" he trailed off trying to find the words and right now Jeno honestly thought the younger was very attractive and on the other hand he thought he was cute whenever he was nervous.
"Let me guess you think us getting married could help you get over him?" he questioned the younger
"No I was thinking more along the lines of uhm fall-falling in- you know what it's stupid for get we ever had this conversation please" jaemin said giving him pleading eyes.
"Falling in love isn't something bad Jaemin" Jeno said surprising the younger
"I don't know what to say?" the younger admitted
"Can I be honest with you?" he asked
"Of course," Jaemin said leaning against the booth
"I like you, like like you like you" the older said making Jaemin mentally giggle making him think of a lovesick teenager. He smiled hearing him say that made a swarm of butterflies fill his stomach.
Jaemin shyly rubbed at his nape knowing his face was red.
"What do you say Jaemin, will you give me a chance?" the older asked grabbing his hand running the pad of his thumb over it
"Yes" he said with flushed cheeks making Jeno's heartbeat increase
"You want to go out with me this Friday night?" he asked Jaemin smiled
"Yeah I'd like that" the younger said feeling his heart beating against his ribcage
Back at the office Mark was talking to Jisung in his office about Jaemin and Jeno
"Do you think we're bad people for ditching him like that?" the younger asked
"No and Jaemin's so shy I never would've pegged him to be the shy type" ark said making Jisung laugh
"Jaemin? Shy? That's funny he's a complete flirt it's just that roles are reversed because of Jeno" Jisung explaining so that Mark could understand the younger better
"Park Jisung I am going to- Oh hello Mr. Lee" Jaemin said bowing to the older then sending a slight glare towards his younger cousin
"How was your lunch break?" Jisung asked trying to hide his smirk
"It was interesting, but you left me alone with a man who makes me want to get rid of all my flaws and insecurities" Jaemin said sitting next to him
"So tell us what happened" Mark said
"I uhm kind of told him something that not even Jisung know's, but he wasn't upset by it anyway he asked me out and I said yes" Jaemin said
"Wait back up a second what is that you told him that you couldn't tell me?" the younger questioned him
"That I have feelings for Renjun" he said quietly as Jisung gave him a face of sadness
"I knew it" the younger said hugging his cousin rubbing his back
"I'm sorry na na" Jisung said leaning his head on his shoulder
"I'm pathetic" Jaemin said as the three sat in the younger's office
"No, you aren't Na na you're just a hopeless romantic who is also a victim of unrequired love" Jisung said looking over at Mark
"Hey, you three- woah the atmosphere in here is like someone died" the three turned to see Doyoung with Yuta
"Hi love" Yuta said giving Mark a back hug as he stayed seated on the swivel chair
"Hi baby" Mark said as the younger ones watched the two interact with one another
'They're so cute' they both thought and smiled at each other
"So where is No No taking you out this weekend?" Mark asked gaining his attention
"I don't know I didn't ask" he said earning a smack to the back of the head from Jisung
"Yah what was that for?" he whined rubbing his head
"For not asking him where he's taking you, do you know what time he is at least is picking you up?" the younger questioned
"Yes Friday night at eight" he said
"Wait who does he have a date with?" Yuta asked
Mark looked at Jaemin for comformation
"Jeno" is all he said as the other two cheered
"Yes our ship is sailing" Doyoung said as he high fived with Jisung and the others
"Wait a minute Ji you're a part of this? That's so you" Jaemin said as they laughed
Jaemin's phone buzzed in his pocket he took it out seeing who it was Jisung doing the same
