Jaemin was shutting his dorm room door when he saw Renjun cuddling with Hyuck. He didn't think much of it until he saw something he wish he hadn't.
Without even thinking twice he left the room with the door accidentally slamming shut behind him. He felt like he couldn't breathe. It felt like everything around him was closing in on him. Leaning against the wall he pushed his hair out of his face trying to calm himself down.
"Jaem? Jaemin?" he could hear his name being said, but he couldn't focus on where it was coming from or who was saying it. He felt a pair of cold hands cup his face the eyes that he was looking into belonged to Jisung.
"What happened?" the younger asked him calmly
"I-I- s-sa-saw Ren-ren-jun ki-ki-ssi" he just cried he couldn't get the words out
"Hey Sung-woah what happened to Na na?" it was Chenle
"He saw Renjun and Hyuck kissing" he whispered to the older as he hugged Jaemin, Chenle making an oh shape with his mouth
Jaemin suddenly couldn't understand why this bothered him all of a sudden
'I don't still have feelings for him do I?' he thought
'Clearly you do idiot if you breakdown just because you saw him kissing someone who isn't you' he said to himself sliding out of Jisung's arms and down the wall with bloodshot eyes
"What happened to Na na?" the three turned their heads to see Hyuck and Renjun
"I think I'm gonna be sick" Jaemin said standing up with Jisung and Chenle walking him into their room letting him run into the bathroom slamming the door behind him.
"Is he going to be okay?" Jisung turned around to look at Hyuck
"I don't know" the younger answered honestly
"What happened?" Renjun asked sitting down
"He uh he-" jisung was cut off
"He walked in on the two of you sucking face and he ran out crying" Lele said
"Oh" Renjun said looking away from them
"Why should he care? He has a boyfriend a fiancé as a matter of fact" Hyuck said
"You don't get it dummy Renjun was and always will be Jaemin's first love whether he gets married or not him seeing the two of you like that hurts him knowing that Renjun has moved on from him is a lot for him to handle. He's trying to move on himself as well, but being in love with someone that he's known since middle school is hard for him" Jisung said
Jaemin listened through the bathroom door as his tears fell down his cheeks, he couldn't believe that Jisung of all people knew how he felt.
He leaned against the door sighing to himself as hurt as he was by all of this, he just wanted Renjun to be happy and if Donghyuck is the cause of that well it's good enough for him.
Lost in his own thoughts he jumped hitting his head from the sudden tapping on the bathroom door. Wiping his face he opened the door coming face to face with Renjun before the older could speak Jaemin beat him to it.
"I'm happy for you truly" he said
"Are you?" the older asked
"Yes I'm really happy for you, for both of you" Jaemin said truthfully
They were all supposed to hang out today, but Jaemin assumed that they must've forgotten right when he was about to speak his phone rang. Pulling it from his pocket seeing that it was Mark
"Hello?" he said answering
"Hey Jaemin what are you up to?" the older asked through the phone
"Just got to the dorm what's up?" he asked sitting next to Jisung
"Who is it?" Jisung mouthed to the older
"Mark" Jaemin mouthed back
"Just calling to make sure you're alright Jeno told us what happened" the older said
"Oh yeah I'm alright it was just a misunderstanding, but everything is alright now I promise anyways how are things with you and Yuta?" Jaemin questioned him
"Things are great he's actually in Japan right now visiting family" Mark said with a little pout
"Aww Jeno mentioned that he was from Japan how long is he going to be gone for?" he asked
"Two weeks he left this morning" the older said through the phone
"Aww well he'll be just fine, and he'll be back before you know it" Jaemin said with a smile
"Alright munchkin I'll let you go have fun with your friends tell Jisung I'll see you two on Monday" he said
"I will later Mark" with that they hung up
"So are we still hanging out today like we planned?" Jaemin asked
"Of course, we are what do you wanna do?" Lele asked slinging an arm around his shoulder
Jaemin giggled smiling at the two he wondered what Jeno was doing right now?
"You little shit!" Doyoung said chasing Jeno around his living room while Jungwoo and Mark watched sighing, they pulled their phones out recording them.
It went on for another fifteen minutes they had stopped recording Jungwoo had his head rested in Mark's lap as he played with his hair.
"They act like children sometimes" Mark said
"No kidding it's like dealing with two five year olds" the older said scrolling through his Twitter feed
"You two kids tired from running around?" Mark asked the two sitting on the floor
"Oh shut it" Doyoung said as Jungwoo laughed still scrolling on his phone
"Only four more months till your wedding day how do you feel?" Jungwoo asked Jeno
"I feel happy but not excited yet" he said
"Don't worry it'll hit you a month before the wedding" Doyoung said
"What do you mean?" the younger asked
"Doyoung don't you dare make him start freaking out four months before his wedding let him take it at his own pace" Mark said pointing at the older
"Ooookay" Jeno said grabbing his tv remote turning it on
"Cut it out" Jaemin said running away from Jisung and the others as they chased him around the campus feild
"Aha caught you!" Jisung said as the two hit the ground laughing
"Oh my god that was so much fun" Jaemin said rolling onto his back breathing heavily from running and laughing so hard, Jisug doing the same
"God you two run fast" Chenle said kneeling his hands on his knees with Renjun and Hyuck behind him
"We-we're not fast you-you're just slow" Jaemin said catching his breath
"Yeah yeah, but it was still funny how they all thought theycould catch you when you knew I was the only one who can" Jisung said sitting up
"Yeah that was funny" Jaemin said chuckling
"So have you decided who your best man is going to be?" Hyuck asked Jaemin
"I have actually I just haven''t had the chance to ask him yet" the younger said looking up at the sky
"Is it one of us?" Lele asked curious
"Mhmm" Jaemin hummed keeping his eyes glued to the clear blue sky
Jaemin had already decided who his best man would be from the start and by start he had made this decision when he was sixteen.
"I chose Jisung" was all he said
