Today's lessons were a bummer, but atleast it's lunchtime, right? Since Maddie has been ignoring me for the past week, I've taken it upon myself to hang out with Ollie. We've been getting along quite well, thankfully. He seems quite chill.

"Ayo is it just me or is it hot out here-" His raspy voice echoes throughout the empty football pitch, whilst bending over, red-face and sweaty. Hand clasped on his T-shirt, he fanned himself with his tennis visor, which reveals his short brown hair. (Which keep in mind is stuck up in random places from sweating too much.)

I giggle, taking off my own visor.

"No silly, you did you run all around the football pitch whilst wearing a jacket out in summery weather, so no wonder you're hot-"

As a joke, he swears at me in German,
"Du schlampe!"
Before tackling me to the ground with his tennis racket.

"OoH tHe AuDaCiTy-" I stumble over my words as tears stream down my face from how hard I'm laughing.

For the next 5 minutes, we were sat on the crispy green grass laughing our hearts out.

I didn't know what came over me.

It was like I couldn't control my body.

I slapped Ollie in the face, before screaming at him,

"No one will ever love you!!! You will ALWAYS be alone!!!"

I paused. I could move again.

Ollie sat there, too stunned to speak.

"I- Ollie... I'm so sor-.."

"Just stop.." Owen's voice wavered, and at that moment I knew I had ruined this friendship. My mouth had come out with something so vile... even I was shocked.

He was always sensitive about not getting into relationships (because of his height) and my mind had straight up conjured something like that.

"HEY! Why you upsetting our homie like that- hmm? You BITCH!"

Head swiveling to the left, I curse under my breath, remembering that Ollie has a bunch of bully friends.

Gulping for air, I scramble onto my feet and try to explain what happened, breath heavy and mouth stumbling out of fear.

"Let- m-me... exp-plain-"

My school says words hit harder than that fists.

They lied.

As the tallest boy's hand connected to my skin, I felt it burn and screamed out in agony.

All I could see was the blue, cloudless sky. Laying on the ground, defenseless and still. I felt him kick me in the stomach, yet I just lay there.

I felt no pain, no emotions.

The pain of the other boys kicks just made me feel more numb.

Somebody saved me. They lifted my body up, and made the boys stop. I didn't want the boys to stop. The pain was... refreshing.

I didn't have the energy to see who rescued me.

"YOU FUCKING PSYCHOPATH! HOW DARE YOU. ALL OF YOU!"

The words rung out, and it took me a couple seconds to comprehend what was happening.

Suddenly, it all went black.
