As Izuku grew up he learnt many things and rules to remember. 1- Don't always expect kindness, 2- No attention is better then unwanted attention, and last but not least 3-People change.. and leave. Despite this last thing there has always been one constant in Izuku's life, the one thing giving love and affection unconditionally. This was Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya. Who would be there every step of the way. Always.

Until she wasn't.

It happened all to fast for Izuku. He was on his way home from school, distracted by the outside world and busy being updated on the local hero sightings. Not a minute later he was rushing between the crowds, changing his route and off to his moms work.

As he got there he saw multiple crying families, all crying. Some out of relief of their loved ones safety and others out off loss and grief. Slipping to the front of the crowd he saw bright yellow tape not allowing people in. He saw ambulances and bright lights. He looked around and went up to the first person he could find. A young police officer with light tinted blue scales framing her face.

If it was any other moment he would be thrilled to overfill her with questions about her quirk and what it could do. Unfortunately, it wasn't any other moment. He asked what was happened in a rushed tone. In response to the question the officer explained with a sad face that there was a run in with a villain and it resulted in multiple deaths. Only about a half of the people in the building survived.

"Hey, buddy you look pretty young... You don't happen to know anyone who was in the accident.." there was a pause in her sentence as a look of pity crossed her face "..do you?"

"Ah- I- um no, no I don't" He was already turning off "thanks- thanks tho" rushing out of the crowd and making his way home he thought about the possibility's of what could have happened. Knowing his luck in life.. It wasn't good.
