The insect Hashira stood gazing up at the sky. She had little missions ever since she started training her younger sister to become a Demon Slayer like her.

Her peace was interrupted as In the corner of her eye she saw a familiar face.

The Water Hashira, Tomioka Giyu. He wore a look of distraught and to the Purple eyed girls surprise, he wasn't alone.

In his arms he held a little girl around the age of twelve, she looked injured.

The kimono she wore was bloody and dirty. She had dirt and blood all over her face.

She was asleep but the look on her face look like she was in pain.

He then spoke,

"Kocho, please help her." The man says. The Insect hashiras eyes widened, this was quite strange to see Giyuu of all people acting this way.

Surprisingly, Shinobu didn't make a snarky remark or tease him about it. The child in his arms was on the verge of death, she didn't have time to joke around.

Shinobu didn't say anything to him, she only nodded her head and took the little girl in her arms and called for the nurses at the butterfly estate to take her to get the dirt cleaned off her wounds to avoid infection.

The sliding door opened, "How is she?" Shinobu asked Aoi, a young nurse around the age of fourteen.

Aoi responded, "She's doing well. Though she had a lot of cuts and bruises and even one stab wound in her right arm but thankfully, it wasn't deep."

Shinobu gave the girls a closed eyed smiled, "Well that's a relief!" She exclaimed, "I do apologize, I had to get Kanao to train without me. It seems that took to long."

Aoi nodded, "It's fine. But I did find this worn out teddy bear inside her clothes.

"I washed it just in case it was something important to her."

Aoi proceeded to pull out a teddy bear with a lot of rips and some patches of missing fur. It's arm almost falling off.

"Thank you, Aoi." Shinobu spoke in her usual calm voice making Aoi blush lightly from the complement.

"I-it's nothing! Anyways, I'm sure that this girl will wake up in a while. I'll go get water and pain killers ready." She says standing up and walking out the room.

After the pigtailed girl left Shinobu stood up and walked over to the child.

She looked at the young girls features. She had similar facial features to Tomioka. Not to mention she was very pretty aswell.

Shinobu picked up the teddy bear and sat it next to the child.

Taking a closer look at the teddy bear she noticed how worn out it was. Just like Aoi said.

Around the teddy bears neck was a red ribbon. The same shade of red from Tomiokas red side of his mismatch haori.

Shinobu was lost in her thoughts until she almost jumped when she heard the sliding door slam open. Thinking it was Aoi, she turned and opened her mouth to speak but no words came out after she saw who it really was.
