First day pt.1

Part 3

It's now my first day of school and I just finished getting ready so I went downstairs to see my mom and get breakfast

When I get in the kitchen my mom hands me a plate with waffles and syrup (or whatever breakfast you want)

Once we finish eating we say our goodbyes before I go and meet up with Lia

I go outside and spot Lia already waiting for me so I run over to her, "Hey y/n long time no see", she jokes, "Haha very funny"' I say and we both laugh

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting to long", I say, "Nope I actually just came outside anyway we better get going or we will be late!" Lia says

As we walk to school we are talking about random things when I notice a group of boys walking on the other side of the road but one specifically catches my attention he had fluffy black hair and thick eyebrows I couldn't really tell much more considering we were pretty far apart but once I snapped out of my thoughts I notice he was looking at me as well which caused me to quickly turn my attention back to Lia

After around 25-30 minutes we finally reached school and walked in and went to the front office to get my locker number which just so happens to be a few down from Lias so she helps me out my things away

"Okay for first period we have gym so let's go and get you some gym clothes", Says Lia, and yet again we make our way back to the front office and get my gym clothes before heading to the girls locker room to get changed

Once we were changed we walked out of the locker room into the gym to wait for class to start but as we step into the gym I notice the boy from earlier but before I know what's happening Lia is dragging me his direction

When we finally reach him Lia says, "Hey Anthony! This is Y/n she's new" as Lia finishes Anthony looks at me smiles and slightly waves,
"Y/n this is Anthony", Lia continues, "it's nice to meet you!" I say to him but as I finish we hear the coach yell, " C'mon everyone line up!"

Everyone does as he says, "okay so today we're gonna be playing basketball, girls first!" Coach says, I'm not horrible at basketball considering i used to play with my cousin all the time

all the boys run to the bleachers as the coach sorts the girls into teams luckily me and Lia are on the same team as the game starts our team is in the lead me and Lia kinda have the same amount amount Skill as we are playing I notice Anthony and that other new kid staring in mine and Lias direction

*time skip to the end of the girls game*

Ok the girls game is officially over and our team won by a couple of points as me and Lia are on our way to the bleachers we run into that other new kid I saw staring at Lia earlier

"Hey nice shirt", me and Lia say at the same time causing us to laugh

"Thanks y'all seem to be really good at basketball", he says shyly, "thank you" Lia says, call me crazy but i think she may like him a bit

"Sorry I didn't even introduce myself I'm Kenny", he finishes

"Well nice to meet you Kenny I'm Y/n", I say shaking his hand

"And I'm Lia looks like you should get over there " Lia says smiling at him while noticing the boys lining up Kenny runs to the line of boys but as we continue walking to the bleachers we run into Anthony

"You know you guys aren't to bad but you should take some notes as I play cause I'm kind of a professional", he says, but is interrupted by coach yelling, "Larusso get over here!" , Anthony runs over and gets in line with the other boys

Before we know it the boys game is coming to an end and Anthony and Kenny seem to be going one on one

Anthony seems to be having trouble getting the ball from Kenny

Kenny goes around Anthony and shoots and makes it but as Anthony gets the ball and goes to shoot Kenny comes up and blocks the ball which cause it to go back and hit Anthony hard in the face and also causes him to fall down that had to hurt

in the distance you can hear his friends calling him "Lapusso" and Kenny apologizing and Anthony saying, "Bullsh*t",
Guess he's pretty mad

As he gets to his feet he looks toward me and Lia clearly embarrassed as he walks over I say, "yea real professional", me and Lia laugh but Anthony just looks at us still visibly embarrassed

"Hey don't be embarrassed I like your confidence", I say smiling at him, he smiles back in return

Me and Lia heads to the girls locker to shower and change into our regular clothes and head to our next class.
