-[y/n]'s pov
i saw the terror that was on Suzuki's face when i said that sentence. and he became oddly silent throughout the ride home. i don't know if Ran noticed my irritation because he kept on glancing at me multiple of times.
why do i kept on meeting people i already buried in my past? like i met the son of the person who killed my parents and eventually me if i hadn't fought back. i won't be where am i if that happened.
but when we arrived at Koko's house, i already explained on where would they sleep.
"Koko!" i shouted because we were on the second floor.
"what is it princess— uhm i mean [y/n]?" he said.
i chuckled at his sentence before releasing my question.
"is 'that' already cleaned up?" i asked.
"what do you mean 'that'— oh, yeah it was." he said.
i wasn't sure if it was indeed cleaned up so i peeked first. it smelled good, like a lemon scented air freshener was mixed into the room's air conditioner.
"come in." i commanded.
"you will both sleep in this same room." i said which freaked the two out.
"what?! we're opposite genders!" Minako complained.
"Chouji, there's a pullout bed underneath the bed. you will be sleeping on the bed and Suzuki will be sleeping on the spare bed. and assuming you two won't be up to something mischievous since you both despise each other in your own way, correct?" i asked.
"c- correct." Suzuki said.
"then both of you will be fine together. please don't quarrel too much, you're both here for the same purpose, to work. clothes are provided in that dresser." i said.
