Surprise Birthday Party

Saturday finally rolled around and Neighthan came to pick me up for our date and when I asked him where he was taking me he said it was surprise. Dad said he'd see me later and I said the same to him not really knowing what was going on at that time. I went with Neighthan and he took me to a night club and took me inside and before I could say anything and he told me not to worry about anything bad as Cleo's dad took care of everything. Once he had me in the main room of the club all my friends jumped from thier hiding spots yelling Surprise! and Happy Birthday! I was surprised alright. I looked at Neighthan "When did you do this?" He looked at me 'When I saw when your birthday was and then your dad tells me you hadn't celebrated it since your mom passed away, come on Alana, let us celebrate with you" Jackson walked up to me "Remember how I told you about Holt Hyde?" I nodded "Yeah I remember that" He nods "Well, I'm letting him out to help you celebrate..so get ready to meet him" and with that he walks off to get ready. I really didn't want to celebrate but when Cleo came over and placed a tiara she had made for me on my head and called me the birthday girl, I gave in and celebrated my birthday for the fist time since my mom passed away. Toralei walked up to me and she hugged me and wished me a happy birthday and appologized for her behavior before but Cleo was right she was jealous but when she found out that I got sick and could of died from it she freaked out and began to change her ways, she was the one who would give Clawdeen my sewing projects from Home Ick and she'd pass them to Jackson or Ghoulia who'd bring them over to my house for me. I hugged her back telling it was ok, it was in the past and if she wanted to we could be friends and she said she'd like that and let me go "Meow! let's get ready to celebrate!" I noticed a table was set up near by and it was covered with presents. Heath came over to talk to me then told me to watch the dj's station and I did and was amazed at what I saw. Jackson had taken the spot behind the station then he reached over and turned the music up and I seen him transform into Holt Hyde. He changed some cds/records around and made an annoucement about it being my birthday and to treat me right and have fun and Clawd held up his icoffin and told him to behave himself or there will be evidence to show Jackson that Holt was an idiot and got himself into trouble making him blush a pretty purple color. Deuce tapped Heath on the shoulder "Remember I'm going to need your help in the back then" Heath nods and walks off with him. My dad showed up after awhile and went and had talk with Deuce and Cleo. I noticed that some teachers were around and asked Neighthan about it "Oh the teachers, when they found out you hadn't celebrated in a while they wanted in on it, remember you have your dad, but everyone at Monster High is your family as well, let them help you celebrate" I nod and say I will. I walked up the dj station and asked Holt if i could talk for a bit and he nods and puts his headphones up to keep music playing so he wouldn't turn back and turns the other music down. I took the microphone. "I just wanted to thank everyone for doing this for me, it's been awhile since I celebrated my birthday, I stopped celebrating when my mom passed away but everyone here tonight is right I need to start celebrating again, also just so everyone knows, Neighthan is the hero who saved me when I was sick, he risked his life to go into the relem of darkness and confront the Queen Shadow Bee for royal jelly, he proved himself worthy by asking for her help rather then just barging into the hive and stealing it, once he got it back after a fight with a shadow imp, my dad was able to make the medican for me, so yeah thank you very much Neighthan, you proved one thing, that you hold the lock and I hold the key...tonight I turn the key opening the lock on my heart to you and everyone else! Thank you so much everyone!" and after that I told Holt to turn the music back up and he obliged. Neighthan came over to me and hugged me and I hugged him back. Bonita came over "Way to go Neighthan" He nods "I'd do it agian if I had to" I really wish I had done research on shadow imps because no one knew what happens when they claw you and one had clawed Neighthan in the face before he got back through the portal with the royal jelly, turns out there's a type of bacteria they carry on their claws that when it mixes with the blood of a non demon or imp it causes them to start changing and the imp that clawed Neighthan had been in a fight with a dragon demon before hand and it's dna was in the bacteria on the imps claws. It happened after the birthday cake and I was the only one who could stop him when he begins to transform and it cause my mother's full powers in me to wake and I also need to use my dad's powers and no I'm not afraid of it, in fact I embrace it to help Neighthan like he helped me. Cleo ran up to Holt and asked him to turn the music down and like before he put his head phones on and turned the music down and Deuce and Heath ran into the back and a few minuets later they came out pushing a cart with a huge birthday cake on it, turns out Deuce used Heath as a match to light the candles but he didn't care. They brough the cake over to where I was sitting and got everyone to surround me and sing happy birthday to me and after that I blew the candles out with a little help from my friends. While the cake was being cut and pieces were handed out Neighthan exscused himself to go to the mansters room. After a few minuets Heath went to the bathroom as well. I was talking with Clawd about the latest game expansion pack that was just released for the online game we play when Heath came running back saying something was wrong with Neighthan and he refused to come out of the mansters room. Clawd got up and went inside to check on him. I waited outside the mansters room and Clawd poked his head out "I have no idea what's going on here" I looked at Heath "Keep watch and don't let anyone in here" He nods and stands at the door and I go in and run up to Neighthan who is sitting on the corner hiding his face. "Neighthan what's wrong?" He refused to answer me and let me see his face but I seen his hands and he had claws and I knew he had regular fingernails like I did. "Clawd go and get my dad and hurry" He nods and runs out of the bathroom and comes back a few minuets later with my dad who came running over. He managed to pry Neighthan's hands away from his face "Oh my god....that shadow imp that clawed you, it must of gotten into a fight with a dragon demon before hand, usually their scratches are harmless and heal in a few days or can be healed by magic as you did..." I looked at my dad "What are you saying?" He looked at me "Shadow Imps have a bacteria in their claws that is harmless by itself but if another creatures DNA is combined with and they claw something or someone that bacteria will piggy back the dna into the victims blood stream and that DNA will mix with their blood and cause them to turn, there is a way to reverse it though...but the spirit of light Luna is going to be needed....Alana you need to let your mother's power wake up, you need to embrace her power, her love that is inside of you, it never left when she passed away, it's always been there in your heart, I know you love Neighthan and will do anything to help him...and if you have to embrace my power and let it wake up and help you" Neighthan grabbed his head and got up and ran out of the bathroom and I ran after him "Neighthan get back here!" I kept myself calm "Clawd, go talk to Holt, we need Jackson back, with him and Ghoulia's help I should be able to awaken both sets of powers, I'm not giving up on Neighthan" We ran out of the bathroom, Clawd went to talk to Holt and me and my dad to try and find Neighthan.
